A 3-day weekend....so nice to sleep in...

Didn't get up unti 7:30 but tomorrow will have to get up at 4:30 since I have another doctor appt.

Reporting on the leg edema with wraps.... the swelling has been reduced by over an inch in circumference of my ankles and calves. I can actually see my ankle bones and feet bones.... I will be seeing the stocking specialists to be measured and order knee high 30 o 40 mm pressure stockings. After a month or so I will probably need yet a smaller size....it will be much easier to wear the stockings instead of all the wraps...and walking should be easier without all the 1.5 lbs of wraps. It will be so nice, might even wear skinnier slacks!!! emoticon

2 week reprieve from stuffing envelopes and faxing ends...

We had a temp worker doing those tasks for me for 2 weeks but now she is gone and I am back to faxing and stuffing...(plus a few other things)....I need not complain as I still have a job with great benefits...I am thinking of wearing earphones with nice music while stuffing envelopes to erradicate the tedium...(this is allowed in our department)..

When I worked at home for 7 years as a medical transcriptionist I did not wear earphones and was able to do transcription and listen to my favorite jazz station at the same time (occasionally turning off the radio on vocals).....it was great....

Stuffing envelopes takes less concentration than transcription so I think it will help my mental attitude at work.... emoticon

I always seem to weigh less on Sunday...maybe I should look for a Sunday WW meeting? LOL ... just gotta hang onto this lower weigt for 6 more days....

I used to wear a pair of silk pants fo weigh-ins but seem to have lost them...

I did, however, lose 0.8 lb this past week....I know I need to do more exercise and eat less restaurant food.... emoticon

Went to bed early last night due to electricity being off!!!

It was way too hot in my room to sleep(and the CPAP wouldn't work without electricity) so I tred sleeping in my recliner in the living room....

Luckily after about a half hour the electricity came back on (it was off only a couple of hours)...and I went to bed and got a great sleep of about 10 hours...

I feel great and even missed my WW early meeting...so gotta go weigh in at the 8:00 am. meeting...I am pretty sure my weigh in will be good...and am looking for a lightweight outfit to wear.... emoticon

I really need to have 8 hours of sleep to feel up to par...

I should make getting 8 hours of sleep per night a personal goal as I know I feel better on 8 hours of sleep than on 6..... emoticon
