Feel better after an 11-hour sleep....

I didn't take a nap yesterday afternoon as I was tempted to..instead I went to bed early and got a really good night's sleep and I feel much better today.

I am starting a new week tracking for Weight Watchers and hope to lose weight ths week instead of gaining 1.8 lb like I did last week. Part of the reason, ofcourse, is that I did not track my food and ate way too much sugar, carbs and fat. Also, I did not exercise my usual amount. (Could there be a correlation between eating those foods and feeling lethargic?) hmmmmmmm emoticon

I woke up to an info-mercial this morning promising I would lose 60 lb in a month...if I only send them $120 and follow thei program. I think $40 a month for WW is enough...but eventually I will be back to Sparkpeople only which is freeeee~~~!!! emoticon

Saturday morning weigh-in...

I almost skipped by WW meeting cause I thought I gained 4 lb this week...on actual weigh-in I had gained only 1.8 lb.... not a loss but I was relieved I didn't really gain 4 lb in one week. Gotta keep tracking and trucking (exercising)....

This past wek was a week of going to the gym only 2 times...gotta get back to my 4-5 times a week (it makes a big difference... emoticon

I am really tired this afternoon and am having trouble focusing my eyes so have had to edit this blog twice...I think a nice nap on this rainy afternoon would be wonderful emoticon only about 30 minutes will help a lot...

Quickie blog on an early morning....up at 4:30...

I usually get up 1.5 hours before I need to leave the house for work but today got an extra .5 hour sleep so I got close to 8 hours...have to be at work an hour early in order to fit a PT appt into the middle of my day.

Yesterday I had to leave work 2.5 hours early to take hubby to dentist for a broken crown. Luckily it was recemented and seems good as new for only about $20!!!! That was a relief....

Compared to yesterday's breakfast of egg sandwich with mushrooms, this bowl of cheerios with banana seems boring...

Because of the cholesterol I think eggs every day would be unhealthy (especially if I have 2 eggs). My favorite alternative is fried (in olive oil) tofu slices...I put spices on it an it actually tastes a lot like scrambled eggs.

Today at work we are having a pot luck where everyone brings sandwich makings for hoagies...I am bringing tomatoes (I found Roma tomatoes for 99 cents a lb at the grocer at work). Have to slice them up before I bring them in to work. I decided to bring my own bread instead of eating a hoagie bun (I'm bringing 1 Arnold whole wheat flat bread and that will limit the amount of "fixings" I can fit on my sandwich, also). Today we get an hour long lunch to play baby shower games and have our pot luck and get paid for the extra half hour lunch.

P.S. After thinking of that tofu breakfast sandwich...I added one to my breakfast and it actually fit into my WW points and fried in 1 tsp of olive oil it included a healthy fat!!!
