I certainly am having difficulty doing my blog this morning. Today I get off work 2 hours early to take my CPAP machine in for a reading (computer chip).... and then a consult with the sleep doctor's PA. Today I will have to pay $7 to park in valet parking since I don't think I can get there fast enough especially with my CPAP machine en tow.
I think I will ask to try a nose prong type attachment as I wake up with dry eyes (from leaks of the face mask) and dark red lines from the attachments on forehead and face.
The good news is I can work only 6 hours today and after my appointment I will go swimming and whirlpool (which I skipped yesterday).
Seems to be a struggle, especially after a few days off. This was only a regular 2 day weekend but the promise of my coworker returning to work is held out again as supposing to happen today. It will be nice to have her back after over a 2 month absence. The piles of work have gotten a bit depressing.
I will gladly hand over the "lawyer line" where I have been spending a large portion of my day, printing faxed requests and returning calls to frantic secretaries and others. (I call it "putting out fires.")
Perhaps I will get some of the work I usually do taken care of. I will feel I have accomplished something at the end of the day.
I got up an hour ago and was going to take my usual leisurely time about getting ready to go to the gym and buy gas for the snowblower....26 minutes later....the large flakes are coming straight down and visibility is not good. I don't really have to go out for anything (though I do love swimming). I have a treadmill, a recumbent bike and lots of housework to do.
I ate leftover shushi for breakfast (a bit high in sodium even without soy sauce). Planning a slow cooker venison stew for dinner. (I better do lots of exercise to compensate for that...)
A funny one: My hubby called his son via cell phone and his son said,"Shhhhh, talk very softly, I'm hunting."
My daughter called from Montana and said her boyfriend was with a hunting party and one of them shot a Mountain sheep which fell off a 200 foot cliff and it landed on its feet. I said at least the meat didn't get ruined. I told my daughter an older sheep is mutton and it probably is only good for stew and sausage. Also, all the tallow has to be removed before the meat is somewhat edible. I personally would not shoot a wild sheep or goat as they are so much fun to watch as the scramble among the rocks in the mountains. (I remember watching them climb up sheer cliffs when I was in Montana back in 1971.)
So today is a day of looking out the window at the huge snowflakes (it is our first real snowfall this season). Prediction is for 6 to 10 inches today.
I should go take some pictures today and post them...it is always beautiful when the trees are covered with snow!!!
I can get off work an hour early for my mammogram...I can hardly wait!!!!
I thought I had one last year but when I checked it has been 3 years so off I go...just hope I don't have to have compression views like one year. It was only a shadow but they wanted to make sure and so I am glad that's all it was...but the compression was unbelievable...how can they make a boob so flat (paper thin!!!!)....
I expect a good result as I have never had a problem in the past.....
