Eye is good...not sore now. Need to find support group for prediabetes, etc.

Dr. put me on Lipitor for cholesterol at 250 and very high bad cholesterol.

I also am prediabetic and having issues with hypoglycemia which causes my appetite to interfere with weight loss. Hope to find low glycemic diet to help with those issues.

I am back to tracking all meals (was only tracking breakfast and lunch) and increasing exercise.

My goal for exercise is to swim 3 x a week and walk 1 mile per day (it is just around the block) I will start that today. emoticon

Got another "certificate" of excellence. I have done this 4 months in a row. It helps to track my numbers accurately and keep an eye on the clock.

I find the "clockwatching" a bit hard to do but my last 4 months of success say it pays off.

Tomorrow I get another Avastin shot in the eye so will work 5.5 hours and get off early for dr. appt. I am taking Friday off for recuperation as my vision is usually not normal and need some extra rest after these. I lost track but this will be about injection #15, still at every 4 week since last April (2013). Vision has been good.

Going swimming this morning...

Nothing (almost) will deter me.

I feel so much better when I swim several times a week.

Plan to go today (Sunday), Monday and Wednesday.

There are so many "excuses".....yesterday I drove to the gym (7 miles from my house)...when I got out of the car I thought my bag was too light and gosh darn it, my swimsuit was not in there. By the time I got home I was not ready to drive 14 more miles......

Today I am leaving in 10 minutes, no matter the weather...double checking my bag for my equipment (swim gloves, shoes, snorkel goggles and, of course, my swimsuit).

    I have a pool right out my front door and don't get in it near often enough. I really do like the jacuzzi though. I can sit in that and pedal like a bike but don't know what to call it. It must be helping because I noticed my tummy is smaller today!! You go---no excuses!! emoticon emoticon

Worked in kitchen 1 hour and mowed until mower died and couldn't restart...taking a break but I have not given up.

I tried 2 more times with the mower and finally gave up after much frustration. Went to Craig's List to find a mower for hire..... emoticon

    Grrrr! Those minor irritations... Well, breathe deeply and try to let things happen in their own time. You will eventually get that lawn mowed, one way or another. Until then, stay calm if you can.

First on my list is to clean up kitchen and make a promise to do dishes daily. This is the worst habit I have fallen into and in this hot weather it is really dreadful....

Don't want to share the TMIs of the situation. Just suffice it to say, "I can't stand it anymore!"

    Thanks for not posting a photo of your kitchen...I might have thought it was my kitchen! emoticon I am on the same path of trying not living like a frat boy (minus the posters and beer bottles.) I am going to clean up the living room today so I have more work-out space. Clutter pulls a person down. You will enjoy seeing your kitchen back in order. More power to you!
