Frustrated!Monday, June 15, 2009My scale went up a pound instead of down!!! My SparkStreaks haven't been updating since I reset them at the end of April??? I'm more active now than I have been for a long time, drinking my water and eating my fruits and veggies...ok, I occasionally go over my calorie count but not often, some days I'm way below...which I know is not good either. I guess I'll have to add more exercise and be more consistent with the calories I consume...here's hoping the scale starts to move! ![]()

If you're doing strength training, it may be that you're gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat. Sometimes if you pay attention to other indicators of progress, clothes (or even rings) fitting looser or growing longer, rings spinning around your fingers, losing inches, etc., fluctuation on the scale won't be so discouraging. Hang in there!

Sounds like you are doing good overall. One pound is frustrating but could easily be water weight or something like that. Good luck with your goals :)

You will get there! Vigilance! I know how frustrating that can be. Keep doing the right things and you will get results. I'm glad you are more active now, drinking your water and eating well! That's great progress! You are living the lifestyle and that is pretty important! Hugs, Jean Report Inappropriate Comment |
