Ok everybody, this is important!

I got a phone call Friday night from my mother saying my dad was having chest pains. I sent my husband, who is on the local RS, over there and he had a squad meet him. They determined no heart attack, thank the Lord, but his abdomen was bloated and he was in so much pain, they took him to the hospital. After a few tests, they found a hole in his esophagus. They call it a microtear. He remembered basically inhaling an egg roll and admitted that it felt rough going down. He has been in the hospital since Friday night and this afternoon was the first time they have let him have anything to drink and broth to eat. The hole has healed and they have him on antibiotics in case of infection, but egg roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So please, please, please take the time to chew. I know I will emoticon !

I started a new team!

I have recently started going to the Y again. I got caught up this fall and just haven't been going, but I did last night and feel bad that I haven't been. I am making a commitment to go at least twice a week. I love going to the pool, using the gym, taking the kids for the activities, so I started the YMCA Sparklers for all us Y members. If any of you out there love going to your Y, join me! I will be thrilled to have you aboard.

I was reading this article the other day and decided to share. It is about deep breathing and its benefits. I am a big supporter of using oxygen to jumpstart my energy and it has helped me lose weight. I hope it helps someone else too.

What I love about me

I have to talk about things that I love about myself this week for my FFF weekly challenge. It is something that I never have thought about before.

1. I love my eyes. They are a beautiful dark green. Green eyes run in my mother's family and I am the only grandchild tha has them. I guess it is something that I consider unique to me because no one has quite the shade I do and I love them!

2. I love that animals take to me so easily. As a child I loved animals and they loved me. Now that I'm grown, it is still the same. I am an animal magnet. I have a soft spot for them and a knack that they sense that I will be kind and gentle

    Love that you did this. I'm glad to know about your beautiful green eyes. Mine are hazel like my Dad's and I love them too.

I'll tell you some things I love about you - maybe you'll agree they're wonderful traits of yours.

I love how thoughtful you are.

I love how gently encouraging you are.

I love how generous you are.

I am not surprised that animals see and feel how good you are - it radiates from you - even on line.

    Wow - thanks for sharing. I had heard cinnamon helps curb your appetite and has healthy benefits, but I didn't know all of that! I've been drinking lots of cinnamon apple herbal tea lately, so I guess that's a good thing :)
