I wasn't home at dinner time, so I decided to have a small bowl of cereal to hold
me over...All well and good, until I kept put dinner off..Oh, I'll eat in a minute, oh I'll wait for my boyfriend...Finally as I started eating dinner, I felt the low sugar effects coming on, the shakiness, etc. So I ended up eating my dinner, and tossed down a muffin..that's where I went wrong!Its hard to give the food time to adjust your blood sugar levels, so I just kept eating...went 500 calories over my daily allowance (ouch!) . I keep doing the "coulda, woulda, shoulda" but making myself feel guilty will just make it worse. So I am going to come out of this with a great lesson learned! I usually always have some sort of snack handy, and today I didn't. I will make sure I have something with me next time to prevent plummeting sugar levels!
