Ok, so after being on Sparkpeople for a couple of monthes now, I'm finally getting into the swing of how this whole thing works.
I just posted my first weight loss in who knows how many monthes!! I lost 10.4lbs this week. Also, I am officially out of the 400's!!
It hasn't been easy though....tracking my food, being consistent with my water intake, exercising (not as much as I would have liked to), etc. But, through the help of sparkfriends and sparkgroups, I've found some motivation and inspiration to keep it up. So a big to all for the words of encouragement and tips.
And thinking back on this weekend, I wonder what the number would have been had I not completely blown my diet after a night out at Outback for dinner...(by the way, the slab of baby back ribs and fries is a WHOPPING 2014 calories....YIKES) I didn't do what I was supposed to do and look up my food before I went in and sat down. *slap on the wrist* But, I did not beat myself up for it like I have in the past and went into a depressive spiral so that's a plus!
