well, sadly, this is ONE of those times. not sure exactly what it is but the number on the scale ain't helping much either. thing is, i KNOW i am not consuming 3500 calories extra calories a day. if anything--i'm not consuming ENOUGH which is itself its OWN problem.
however, as in past years, this is my busy season and like other offices across this country, we too, have been downsized even though i work for a public university. in fact, we've been downsized for the past 3 years and forced to do more with less staff AND less $$$ thanks to mandatory furloughs. this time 3 years ago just so happens to ALSO correlate with the start of my weight "creepback" as i like to call it. it's been a rollercoaster ever since.
so, while my diet has not been "perfect", my workouts have been even LESS so. no energy, not enough sleep, not enough fuel (i'm petering out 15-20 minutes into a 45-50 minute workout which is admittedly NOT normal for me)...something has GOT to give and it simply canNOT be me.
