good morning all

time to start a new routine but an old one. im not writing what im eating down. i wasnt when i lost the 20lbs in the first place. i was just cutting things out that i didnt need like soda and pizza. and theres more to cut out. i will keep track of working out. but ill keep everyone updated on any changes. im 276.0 right now maybe i could get down to 275 by wednesday thatd be great:) im going to start walking 40mins a day plus other random workouts.

im hoping i didnt gain any weight. i need some tips yall. im walking 20-40 mins a day im watching what i eat. its expensive to eat healthy. what found shouls i buy and what shouldnt i buy? iv cut out soda and pizza...what else should i cut out??

I DIDNT EAT A SNACK BEFORE BED LAST NIGHT!! YAY!! when i ate brown long grain rice with red bell peppers and a lil deer meat i made a rule up to get my 8 glasses of water in. I can take a sip every 3 bites of something. i did it last night and i was full till the morning. now im guna make this a habit for awhile and see if i lose any weight doing it

    That's awesome! Doesn't it feel good to achieve personal goals that you set just for you?
Pretty soon you won't want to eat before bed. It will feel gross.

it stresses me out. big time. and people are saying i cant lose weight walking 20 mins a day im in need for tips:(

    Tracking can seem like a daunting task. Maybe you should just write it down in a journal instead of using SP. I know that I went away from SP tracker for a while and it really worked!

And yes you can definitely lose weight with walking - 20 minutes a day if that's all you can do now - just keep doing that. When 20 minutes becomes easy - increase it to 30.

You are stronger than you think! NEVER GIVE UP!

    You may be able to lose weight walking 20 minutes a day. But it depends on all the other variables - your starting weight, how different this activity is from your previous activity level, and, yes, your diet.

The only way this will work out is if you adjust your caloric needs and exercise to each other so that you are not eating above (or below!) the healthy threshold of calories, given your activity level.

Have you been tracking nutrition for awhile? If not, you will get used to it and it will get easier. If you just don't like the tracker on this website, keep track in a journal of the calories you use.

It's a little snobby (in my opinion) for people to say you won't lose weight with walking. But it *could* be true, given all your circumstances. The only way to figure out what *you* need is to stick to your calorie and exercise requirements for awhile...then adjust them as necessary if they aren't doing anything after a few weeks.
