Day EIGHT Of My 30 Day Shred

Ok so im glad I got it done today. I feel like im back on track excersice and diet wise. The only problem is my leg! Not only does my right leg hurt at the knee but it hurts really bad in the bone between my foot and knee right in the middle. That doesn't make sense to me? Am I breaking my leg?!? Besides that both my calves are super burning and makes it near impossible to do all the jump ropeing and jumping jacks and butt kicks. I couldn't even stay squated for my punches. I did get a good workout in but I had to cheat alot on the leg moves. Do I work through it? Because after taking my break my leg didn't feel any better and my calves didn't burn before. *sigh* im going to take a relaxing bath now. emoticon

    I agree...make a call to your doc and get his/her opinion....you may need to pursue a more low impact form of exercise until you no longer feel pain...take care!

    If you continue to be in pain, especially BONE pain, you should rest and if it really continues, visit your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry, right!

Day SEVEN of My 30 Day Shred

So it's been 3 days since my last workout. I keep falling off track!!! But anyways.............I shredded today and my calves were so sore the whole time! I dont know if its because I had been working them out everyday then took kind of a long break? Anyways not much to say except I WILL be back tomorrow.

Day SIX of My 30 Day Shred

Ok so I did finally take that break yesterday. I stayed on track food wise all day until last night. Then this morning I didnt stay in control either. I DID end up tracking each bad thing I did this morning to make the rest of today work however it does seem like so much of my time I spend worrying im going to go to the kitchen! I wish there was a pill to cure food addiction. Seriously. BUT anyways hopefully I'll make today work. And im glad I got my workout done but my leg for some reason seems even sorer than it did a couple days ago. I think its the leg I broke when I was like 6 and I wonder if that has something to do with it somehow. Anyways not much to say except I better be here tomorrow! I have to make myself!

    emoticon Take care of that leg, don't use it as an excuse to sit on your duff, but maybe try something with less impact for a few days.

Also, my husband complains that we never have anything "good" to eat, I always respond with "if it isn't in the house I don't need willpower to not eat it." I know that I have no willpower when it comes to sweets, so I try to limit what I have on hand. Maybe it is time to clean out your cabinets and fridge and re-stock with fruits and energy bars. If I'm really craving sweets I go for the darkest chocolate I can find or some chocolate soy milk (lots of sugar, but LOTS of protien).

Day FIVE Of My 30 Day Shred

YES I KNOW! I for the SECOND time said I'd be taking a break today. HOWEVER. My BEST friend who I haven't seen in almost a year is in town and wants to take me to dinner tonight. I've lost almost 50 pounds since he's last seen me so I HOPE he notices BUT. I am worried i'll be bad tonight SO I decided I better shred. Also normally when I know im going to be bad I say oh well for the whole day BUT i've stayed right on track! The trick will be staying on track tomorrow but I think I can and will do it. IF my weight is down from 295 tomorrow morning thats progress and I WILL take a break. If I end up being pretty bad tonight and my weight is up Im definitly getting my day 6 done tomorrow. I hope that's not the case Im SO sore! Anyways that's all for now! emoticon

    emoticon You're doing great!! He's definitely going to notice. Just drink lots of water & eat a piece of fruit before you go so you wont overeat. I should take my own advice. LOL!!

    You are on track. He should notice, 50 pounds is a BIG change. You will be good tonight, get a grilled chicken salad & skip the appetizer if he asks if you would like one. Keep up with the Shred, I know you are sore. BUT working through it helps, I was so sore when I started it, but I kept going and felt ALOT better.

Congrats on the weight loss. Have fun at the dinner!!

Day FOUR of My 30 Day Shred

I wasn't going to shred today due to my VERY sore leg but this morning my weight was down to 295.8 which is just 3 pounds away from where I was when I fell way off track. SO I had to shred. I can't wait to start losing weight that I haven't lost before! emoticon HOWEVER with that said I will MAKE myself take a break tomorrow because my leg is all the sorer. Is that how you spell that? Anyways. I think it has something to do with how I distribute my weight when I land AND stand. Like I put more pressure on one side of my foot than the other. Anyways TOMORROW IS break day!
