Update! I m back... wasn't gone long tho lol

Sunday, August 28, 2011

Well I m back... Hum where to start ended up at 2 birthday party's at the first I didn't eat or drink anything and at the second even tho there was TONS of food that I normally would indulge in I did really good I ate all of 3 chips even stayed away from the cake and it was white, chocolate and strawberry cake all in one.. lol but one thing that helped out was that the party was out side and it was SUPER hot so way too hot to want to eat.. that and I was saving my calories for this little Italian restaurant that has Spinach alfredo thin crust pizza with mushrooms YUMMY So I had 2 big slices and 3 small stuffed mushrooms... (A weakness that I only indulge in about once every 3 to 4 months) With that being said I so went over on my calories! emoticon

After that I went swimming for almost an hour and a half. LOVE to swim!
Really enjoyed getting to see some of my family that I don't get to see very often! Had fun catching up!

Turns out going from the country to the city doesn't help when you have a sinus infection... go figure but no biggie it was worth it!! I will just take some more meds and eventually it has to go away lol
Also weight in is tomorrow,, but after this weekend's indulge and the fact that the TOM is approaching really fast I don't have high hopes. At this point I will be excited if it doesn't go up any lol
Anyways my friends good night and I will let you all know tomorrow!! emoticon

Wow! You really showed a lot of restraint at the birthday parties! Even though you ate over your calories at the restaurant, at least you swam for an hour and a half. That must burn a lot of calories!

Goals,, almost done, feeling... not to hot,,, weekend plans

Friday, August 26, 2011

Okay so I have done MOST of my goals so far this week,,, have some left but the weeks not over yet... I might have over shot my goals alittle but at the time I did feel I could get it all in... only have 4 of the exercises left.. and have been in my calorie range but off the food plan alittle. Still having issues with my sodium intake.

Still not feeling 100%,, still having headaches, sinus problems, sick to my stomach feeling and feeling like I m starving at the same time... been alittle more tired than normal lately. I'm so ready to feel normal again SOON...

Anyways have a birthday party to go to tomorrow.. out of town so I m going to have to exercise my best judgment on what I eat and where. Fingers crossed lol... I know I will do my best! Atleast I get to see alot of my family that theses days I see about once every 6 months or so..

Other than that my official weight in day is Monday so we shall see!!

Best wishes to everyone for a Great & Safe Weekend!! emoticon

20 week challenge Weight in

Sunday, August 21, 2011

Okay so here's where I am ...

So I bought a new scale yesterday, so I would have a more accurate reading.

I weighted in today it says 341.6 Which is -8.4lbs

I know I worked out alot last week (at least an hour cardio 3 days a week and then strength 3 days), sweated my butt off lol Also ate right, drank a ton of water.
And yesterday out in the 109 degree heat must have helped even tho I went over my 1700 calorie by 600 calories yesterday. Anyways the good news is I finally have an scales that seems to work and will now be able to weight in every week!!
The bad news is I don't know exactly how much of the 8.4lbs loss was just this pass week,, because I was having to average out all the weights my old scale was giving me to have a Start weight. now I have an accurate start weight to go by from now on.
That will be so much more helpful... I did take my measure's the week after I first started on SP and then again exactly a month later. So I know atleast how many inches I have lost since the beginning. ( an over all total of 13 inches ) YAY ME!
So here's to Week 2 and knowing exactly where I stand! And what I have to do!!

Best of Luck to everyone! And Thanks for all the help you all have giving me!

You are doing a great job. At least everyone is on the same page. Get a little snack in before you know your mood changes, at least it's happening at the same time so you can prevent it. Keep up the great work! First weigh-in tomorrow. Let's make it count.

Sounds like low blood sugar which can happen to anyone at any age. Look at what you have been eating and make sure it's enough to get you through the day and your workouts. Try a healthy snack about 30-45 minutes prior to when you usually start feeling bad. Make sure it has carbs and protein. Hope this helps!! Keep working it!! emoticon

now I am no expert by any means, but are you getting enough nutrients to get you through your workout? you may be draining your food energy during your workout causing you to feel tired earlier than usual....
Just a thought

YES! I get very sleepy around 3-4. I sometimes eat a bowl of cereal. I also find this sleepiness increases a few days before my period starts. Even a snack can't ward off my tiredness then. :) Good luck and Great job!

I agree with the snack idea. It sounds like u need a little more fuel to help u through. I like to have the fiber one bars or a string cheese or yogurt. Hope it helps.

I'm proud of you, doing what you oughter. And looks like you are getting in touch with your hunger too. Two ideas, first, are you getting enough sleep? Would going to bed earlier change this for you? And second and perhaps most likely, are you getting enough protein in your lunch? Because protein keeps releasing into your blood stream for hours. I have a yoghurt around 3 pm, or a boiled egg or a piece of cheese, or maybe seven almonds if i dare start on almonds (so tempting to eat the whole pack at that stage)which keeps me going til dinner AND ALSO stops me from inhaling whatever I can lay my hands on from 3 pm on as per Whatever.

Yes, every day! I schedule a snack to eat between 2:30-3:30 daily. Otherwise I get way too hungry and end up eating a bunch of garbage when I walk in the door and start working on dinner. My fav afternoon snack right now is a Fiber Plus bar.
