1-10-12 Today's plan

Okay so Today its still raining here and I so didn't want to get out of bed this morning BUT I did. And I am trying to get everything lined out for today.

So far this is what I know I am planning on doing today

ST for an hour

Cardio for an hour

picking up around the house

Finish the laundry lol.. Hopefully fingers crossed it will get finished today lol

take out the trash

Pay some bills

get the kiddos ready to go to town

We've got to go groc. shopping I was hoping I could put it off one more day but nope not gonna happen I am out of milk, and floor cleaner and a short list of other things.. I won't bore any one with lol

Then after picking up groc. gotta come home and cook dinner

Also plan on eating healthy all day
and Drinking tons of water
and FYI I did drink enough and sweat enough yesterday to get all the added sodium off lol ( I weighted this morning to check lol)

Other than that I m not sure what else I will do today. Who knows lol

    Sounds like a busy day, I like the idea of writing it all down too. Good work on sweating the sodium off, wouldn't it be great if it worked like that for all the pounds we wanted to lose?

Today's to do list:

Finish the laundry.. I've let it get out of control alittle.. don't get me wrong most of its clean and even folded just not put away =-(
~~~~~~ okay so to update on how I did today...I didn't finish the laundry.. its getting to be the hated chore lol use to be dishes but now I don't mind the dishes.. strange I know!

clean the kitchen.. like spring clean it....~~~ Did most all of this one!

sweep & mop all floors... always needs it~~~~ not finished.. got to pick up some more floor cleaner lol

dust everything~~~~ most of it is done!

move furniture around... its time for a change and needs to be vacuumed under it~~~~~~~~ Did this chore twice and it was a CHORE..

vacuum every room.. ~~~~~ Did most of it

Cook a health dinner for the family.~~~ Made baked chicken, twice baked potatoes with cheese and broccoli, and steamed corn,baby carrots & asparagus with wheat rolls....... and it all was really good!!

eat healthy.... all day~~~~ DID THIS LOL

watch my sodium intake.. went alittle nutso this weekend on that.. 2lbs worth

Get in atleast an hour of cardio ~~~~~ DID THIS

fix my walkman.. so I can have my music going again lol ~~~FIXED IT

I guess I figure this will help me stay on track and get things done today.. with all this rain.. its easy to want to do notta. So here it is today's plans... and yes I plan on doing all of this and keep the kiddos happy at the same time lol wish me luck my friends!!! lol ~~~~~~ Did most of it and kept the kiddos pretty happy!!

Ahh and I can't forget to DRINK DRINK DRINK.. water that is! lol to help flush out all the sodium and just because I need too!! ~~~Still doing this!!!!!

    Sounds like an excellent plan for the day! Hopefully you are able to fix the walkman. Music is a MUST while exercising for me. Unless I'm doing the 30 day shred DVD and then I just need to FOCUS. Lol. : )

    Thanks for the comment and encouragement on my blog. Your plan sounds great for.the day. I am taking things one hour at a time right now. I had a relaxing morning once my husband went to work. Treated myself to some tea and ate healthy foods. Now onto some exercise. Btw I get the laundry thing.I am in the same boat! Have a great day friend!!!

Okay so alittle up date on the kettle bells.. I mentioned some months ago that I was starting to try them.. & I did the first two times were tough.. and then I got busy with the holidays and didn't try them for awhile well last night I went back to them and woo wee it is a workout!! Gets the heart a pumping and the body a sweating lol

So far I give it 2 thumbs up.. I did the warm up and work out 1 & 2( had to modified a few of the moves) and then the cool down.. 40 minutes worth. The only thing I would say is if you have knee, ankle or back problems or anything else this might would flare those problems up.. me ... weak knees and ankles but not to bad that I will stay away from it. Not so far anyways lol Okie doke so there's the up date for now!

    Good for you!! I got a kettle bell for Christmas and I'm anxious to try it out. What workout did you do? I've read that you have to be careful because if not done correctly they can cause injury. May be why I'm a little skiddish for not trying them yet. Lol.

    I'd love to try kettle bells. I might try them out after the baby is born. I'm surprised you could give 2 thumbs up after working out with those though, I've heard they're tough going!

Jan Goals & what I would like to accomplish this year

Jan Goals~~~~

emoticon 10-12 glasses a day if not more!

emoticon an hour a day 7 days a week

emoticon an hour a day 4 days a week

emoticon limit sweets to one a week

emoticon eat healthier every day

emoticononce a week

emoticon once a month

emoticon try for atleast once a week

emoticon get up at 8 am every morning (if not earlier)

emoticon sign on and track everyday

emoticon take my vitamins everyday

Goals for 2012

~ Eat Healthier

~ stay on top of things alittle better

~ continue to find new ways to make me a stronger and healthier person all around

~ Learn to have alittle more patience

~Learn to not worry about what others say or do.. and be less judge mental of myself and others!!

~Learn that some things just can't and don't have to be perfect!

~Find the woman in me... I know this sounds crazy, but I got lazy when I became a housewife. baggy shorts or yoga pants and baggy Tshirts are my norm, and I hate that. I'm ready to find my femininity again. or for me maybe for the first time ever!!! ( Thanks LISADHARPER1 for reminding me of this one and the last one!)

~Put more into my house, I want to get more organized

Gonna do my best to make this a Great year! WooHoo Let's get started!!!!

    Sometimes it just feels good to put time and effort into yourself. I know I feel better when I do, and I'm not even a mom yet. Nothing wrong with trying to find the woman inside you!! I think those are all great goals for the NEW year!!! : )

    Good luck with your goals :-) I'm amazed at how much water you want to drink everyday, but then again water is giving me heartburn at the moment (strange pregnancy symptom?) I think you'll find a lot of motivation in the femininity goal. I bet that new top waiting in your wardrobe is already working the magic!

    Awesome goals Tara! I cant wait to break free of the baggy frumpy mom I have become. My daughter is dying to dress me. I told her maybe....I look forward to dressing better and I.find myself doing hair and makeup more too.

Okay so I didn't make the 5o lbs I was so wanting to lose in 20 weeks.. and no I didn't complete 40lbs gone.. just 37lbs gone................but wait a minute.... that is THIRTY SEVEN lbs less than what I was just 20 weeks ago. So okay the holidays won alittle but so did I!!! lol The holidays might have slowed down my efforts but for the first time ever I didn't gain weight during the holidays!! So I am taking that as a win!

So Where does 2012 find me???

Waking up earlier

I m Doing more than I use to

I can get up now at 8am and stay awake all day (before I would get up at 10am and be so tired by noon.. )

working out.. going to try and work out atleast an hour a day ever day!!

I even sleep better now

I m down 2 pants sizes

I've lost alot of inches all around (I've gotta look back in my other blogs to see just how many but I know its been alot)

I feel Better!!

I'm pretty sure I could go on but I'm gonna stop and leave some time to go work out and clean house hahaha

Anyways so I want to Thank Miss SALLIE for letting me join her Challenge!!! And For all the encouragement along the way!! I am pretty sure if I hadn't joined her challenge I would have found excuses to eat and be lazy. (It's the holidays, your suppose to eat and be merry and relax ect. ect.) But with joining her and many others I had to check in and be held accountable... even on weeks where I didn't lose any and on weeks where I gained some lol But I m so not complaining!!! I am very Thankful for Sallie and her challenge and for All of my Spark Buddies!!! You all are wonderful amazing people!! So many of you have helped me with advise, encouragement, kind words, and so much more!! So I'd like to say THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!!! If I could I would Give ALL A GREAT BIG HUG*** Its because of All of you and Sparkpeople web site that I have lost what I have and I pray that I Lose a great deal more! I've been on here since july 5th 2011 and plan on staying for a very long time!!

Hum so I guess now I need to go change around some goals and everything and start going again only stronger and harder!!! No more Holidays No more Excuses for me lol

Also Yes I will be celebrating my 37lb lost.. but not with food hahaha.. I m not sure how yet but I am Happy about it and so looking forward to loosing so much more

Right now I am 313.1 so next goal is to lose 15lbs... and finally get out of the 3's for what I hope and pray and going to do my best to make sure that is the last time I see those numbers!!! And when I get to the 200's that will be the first time in 7+ YEARS since I was under 300. So I will be celebrating my friends!!

Okay so enough of my jibber jabber.. It's time to go set some NEW Goals!!!! Thanks again my friends and I wish you all nothing but the BEST!!!
