TWO WEEKS TO CHRISTMAS

Well i have hit a plateau again, and have come to the realization that i have not found an alternative outlet for my sweet cravings!!! Good thing since i am in desert, not much except for what family and friends send in packages. My exercises goals i am keeping up with, no so much on the calorie goals though. i am stuck.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone! today was very interesting as they managed to pull off a nice dinner in a warzone in the middle of nowhere. what was more eye opening was imputing the food eaten on thanksgiving. i wont lie, i had a little bit of everything and left stuff on the plate when i stated feeling full, but yes had the pumpkin pie and coolwhip! On a positive note, did not skip my workouts, upperbody with abs and 60 min cardio. You know its the holidays and we chose what we eat or if we exercise. It is really self accountability. Im not proud i ate all i did but i am proud i didnt blow off my workout. we take the good with the bad +)

Well after all that halloween candy, yes we get it sent to us in Afgansitan, lol i have been talked into a Body for Life challenge per say, i am gonna try strength training portion, change my cardio because everyone here that thinks thier a fitness buff, says 60 min is too long on the treadmill. BUT i like the 60 min.! The strength training part is brutal so since it is my first day i am gonna see what i can accomplish with staggered weights. so i am sure i will modify it so i dont kill myself in the first day. The clean diet is really hard here, so all i can do is really watch portion control. Plus i am trying to ween myself off of sweets and just make it a treat item. My weight has stalled for the moment, but i am not detered!!! if you dont hear from me in a while, it means i am in a muscle coma!! lol EVERYONE trying, keep going, everyday adds up!

  


November-new month renewed motivation

Well halloween was not a good week for me! i have no will power when it comes to halloween candy! sad i know. well new month which means renewed determination!! On all my past attempts, i would fail and just quit, but i have no desire to do that now. My motivation may waver at times but it comes back in full force every day i step on the treadmill for my 60 minutes. I do not worry about the scale as much now a before, all that matters is that i feel stronger, have more energy and am making habits i hope will last a lifetime. The scale will move when its ready i guess lol good luck to all in this new month emoticon

Well i turned 45 yesterday! it is actually just a number=) well the weight loss is going along at a healthy pace, although i work out 6 days a week, so i thought it would be more significant but that's ok, the diet is the hardest to control here with minimal selection. its amazing i used to be a sugar addict, and have cut 90% of that out, i drink maybe 1 diet soda aweek. i thought that along would make a difference in the scale, but even better its making a difference in my health. i really need to get off the scale thing!!! cant wait to go shopping when i get home, only 5 months left to go.
