Well started a new month, although still frustrated with the scale, i keep going. i dont claim to know alot about exercise but the portion control thing seems to be the hardest. today i went over my allotment, but its hard to meet the minimal carb count and i keep going over the fat grams, and cant mmet the protien, when i do, i go over. its hard here because there are no fresh veggies, all canned, fruit seems to be all unripen so i have to wait afew days for it to get edible. so it is VERY easy to turn to the wrong food that is readily available. well all i can do is keep trying- thats my motto- just keep trying!! =)

Hey to all, well one complete month gone by and although i am impatient withthe scale, i still keep trying as i dont have any of my own clothes to judge inch loss of shifting as icall it, although i have taped myself for inch loss not seeing much, but i am not detered- i keep working out and monitoring what i eat the best i can here. time to change the work out routine though so i am going to try for more cardio and only two days of strength training, my muscles are getting bigger, but the incles of fat covering them is not moving . all is well though

Well started the new regiment dont know if i like it, feel like i am not working hard enough now, i enjoy exercise and cardio, seems like i have too many rest days now, today's eating didnt go well especially at dinner. we had hamburgers, so i ate one with mustard no bun, and jumbo hot dogs, ate half with chili and french fries. its amazing how how those calories get. I seem to do well with breakfast and lunch but dinner just doesnt seem to go right. i rarely go over the high end on calories, but just looking at the quantity of food for the calories is interesting. it is sure an eye opener on the quantity i used to eat, i heard that my stomach will shrink down to a normal size when i get a handle on this eating portion sizes again. Hope everyone is doing well.

well i never claimed to be a know it all about fitness, i spend alot of time reading fitness articles from livestrong.com but i have decided to try and change my workout to benefit me more and am trying to enlist the help of the weight lifters and exercise maniacs here with me. I guess we will see if this will work better. Something has got to give, i do cardio 6 days a weelk for 60 min and strength train 3 days a week, and abs 3 days a week. Watch my diet as close as i can here but we have no fresh veggies, dairy and everything is usually fried to ward off bacteria from this country so i am doing strict portion control. lets see how a change up works! let you know next week.

It is so refreshing and i am proud of myself when i finish a 60 treadmill workout, i just love the versatility of treadmills, and i try to change it every time i workout on it, today after 20 min of uphill jog/walk cycles i challenged myself and put the incline on 9.0 and speed on 3.0 and spent 15 min charging up this neverending hill!!!! i was wipped! but felt great. and of course dinner tonight is calory ladened so i will just sample a few things. i am learning to eat veggies and chicken first and then i eat the bad things but by then i am getting full so i stop, i have even graduated to sharing desert ( and i love desert)t and really just savoring food. what a big difference that makes.
