Down to 222 pounds from 233. Which is quite an achievement! Only 12 more pounds this month to reach my goal. But I will be happy with losing 8 no problem.
I will be taking my progress picture soon to see if anything has changed. Last week I managed to get 1470 calories burned by exercise. This week I will try to aim for 1500. Even though my original goal was 1200. I've already shown myself I can pass that :)
People have been apparently noticing! This is great, I feel so good. I can't wait to be under 200 pounds. :D

July Goals to Achieve

Since July is tomorrow I want to set up my goals now!

emoticon To be 210 pounds by July 31 (14 pounds to lose, I will accept 214 though! lol)
emoticon To get 1,000 fitness minutes
emoticon Burn at least 3500 calories by exercise this month. A freebie pound! :D
emoticon Put $300 into savings to go towards Lasik. (Need $1200 for it, have saved $150 so far)
emoticon Love myself for the progress I'm making, love my friends for the motivation and aura of positivity.

What good way to celebrate a new month? with Canada Day of course!

I've almost lost 10 pounds! This is nuts, I feel so great. 50 more to go still but just the fact that adding healthy food choices and 30 minutes of exercise into my daily life is making all the difference! :)

    Yeah I've even been sneaking in russell stoffer's sugar free candy.. Like 1 a day and still lose weight. ^_^ for my sweet tooth addiction lol. It does feel rewarding, but I think I'll notice at the 20 pound mark. Don't really notice yet.

I'm tired, but that shouldn't come as a surprise since I end up staying up until 1 am watching various shows on the Food Network channel that makes me tend to try to nomnomnom at my screen. At least these are virtual calories.

I noticed a slight bit of weight loss this morning, but not a significant amount. I really need to set up a day a week to really have a weigh in day. But my wii seems to like me weighing myself everyday and calling me obese in the process. Yeah thanks for the encouragement there. Perhaps my weekly "important" weigh ins will be on Friday Mornings.

I kind of feel weird today, I went to work in a black dress that cuts off above the knee... didn't wear any stockings.. I hate my legs! and not wearing anything on them in public is really weird for me. It feels like everyone is looking at them. I have long legs but they are fat IMO. (I'm 5'11" btw) I will show you later what I mean! D:

Week goals:

emoticon: Don't stress out over the small things
emoticon: Acknowledge that you are making progress
emoticon: Accept that your body weight fluctuates during the day and there is nothing you can do about it unless you cut your arm off.
emoticon: Love yourself even if you think you're ugly and fat.
emoticon: Feel confident.
emoticon: Learn to control your cravings...

List of my weekly goals seems easy to accomplish. :)

    In my experience the Wii fit board is depressingly accurate. I wish the weight display was digital instead of analog, though.

    1) Cutting your arm off will cause a downward fluctuation in your weight, not stabilize it.

2) Follow my excellent example and learn to love your bare legs by getting tattoos on them.

3) Around my house we call the Wii Fit the Wii Fat, because Wii are. "That's obese." No s#!t genius! I payed $100 for you to tell me this?

Hmm, interesting. I've been watching what I eat all weekend and threw my daily 30-45 minutes worth of exercise in there each day and still manage to gain almost 2 pounds? what is going on? This is beginning to get extremely frustrating. Yeah I understand the body can fluctuate 1 pound, but 2? Nonsense! :/

*sigh* this whole process is becoming more discouraging then ever..

Don't let it get you down though! Keep track of your measurements and judge based on clothes, etc. =]

    I know . . . it happens with me too. GEWalker is correct, plus you maybe gaining a little muscle there! (Toning up is good . . .) We are all here for each other. You sound to me like you are doing all the right things.

    I will measure my waist and weigh myself again tomorrow morning. I haven't measured myself for a week almost so we'll see if there is any difference.

    That "1 pound" number is a generalization. You body weight can fluctuate by 1-2% of your body weight due to changes in water content, whether or not you've had a bowel movement recently, etc. I was up 3 lbs when I weighed in this morning too. What's important is not the data points, but the trend over time. I have to remind myself of that.
