It's Friday, Friday

Friday, June 24, 2011

(Yeah, Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ark)
Oo-ooh-ooh, hoo yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah, yeah, yeah

[Rebecca Black - Verse 1]

7am, waking up in the morning
Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal
Seein’ everything, the time is goin’
Tickin’ on and on, everybody’s rushin’
Gotta get down to the bus stop
Gotta catch my bus, I see my friends (My friends)

Kickin’ in the front seat
Sittin’ in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

[Rebecca Black - Verse 2]

7:45, we’re drivin’ on the highway
Cruisin’ so fast, I want time to fly
Fun, fun, think about fun
You know what it is
I got this, you got this
My friend is by my right
I got this, you got this
Now you know it

Kickin’ in the front seat
Sittin’ in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

[Chorus]

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday

Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

[Bridge]

Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today i-is Friday, Friday (Partyin’)
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after…wards
I don’t want this weekend to end

[Pedophile Verse]

R-B, Rebecca Black
So chillin’ in the front seat (In the front seat)
In the back seat (In the back seat)
I’m drivin’, cruisin’ (Yeah, yeah)
Fast lanes, switchin’ lanes
Wit’ a car up on my side (Woo!)
(C’mon) Passin’ by is a school bus in front of me
Makes tick tock, tick tock, wanna scream
Check my time, it’s Friday, it’s a weekend
We gonna have fun, c’mon, c’mon, y’all

[Chorus]

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

It's Thursday, Thursday...

Thursday, June 23, 2011

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

Oh wait, it's not Friday yet... I am in a positive mood even though I'm pretty certain I'm slightly tired. Maybe.
I measured myself last night, I gained weight on the scale but it showed me being 106cm... and May 30, 2011 I was 112cm. Which means I lost 2 inches off my waist which I can't even tell? Maybe I calculated wrong the first time... I don't know. It's one thing to gain weight and feel discouraged... then it's a second thing to lose inches off your waist and be confused about it. Am I gaining muscle? I hope so. ;_;

Things I want to achieve today:

emoticon Drink my 8 glasses of water.
emoticon Spend the only $5 I have at lunch on fruit since I didn't have any at home to pack for my lunch... and am going through withdrawal.
emoticon Get a lot of my work done
emoticon Exercise for at least 45 minutes tonight

Seems like simple enough goals to follow for today and I will accomplish them.
I was craving Ice cream last night and instead of getting some I decided to eat half a home-made peanut butter cookie. Which I feel good about.

Goals

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

After countless times of saying I want to lose weight and starting some sort of plan to do so, I'd pick up a bag of chips and stuff my face and pretty much start back at square one. Mmm... tasteh.

As I sit here and consume the fail coffee I made this morning, It hits me. Literally, someone threw something at me.
Okay, anyway... goals - the whole reason of this post.

Do you ever notice how hockey players just get these amazing goals on net? okay, no... I wanted to talk about goals to do with me. Yaaahh...

emoticon Get in my 3 hours of fitness every week as a starting point.
emoticon No soda
emoticon Don't get tempted because you know you want too.
emoticon Don't get discouraged when you think it isn't working...
emoticon Consume more protein. Who knew that could be so hard?
emoticon Do something nice for someone almost everyday.

Nomnomnom strawberries.
On a side note, I walked my 4 KM yesterday. Took me 50 minutes, it started to get hot about 10 minutes in. Oh goodie, that must mean it's working.

Little goals are easier to stick to and consistency is the name of the game! emoticon
Good luck and don't give up! emoticon

Honestly

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

I don't care who knows about it, the real achievement is that I over-come it.
If I can overcome a meth addiction, there is nothing I can't overcome. 3 years ago this month I have been clean off of it, I am proud to say that and hopefully I will be proud to say I've lost 60 pounds and am finally healthy.

Past is past. Can't be changed, can't be redeemed, can't be revisited. Past is for learning from, not for living in. I think everyone has something they've done that they aren't proud of--mistakes made, people hurt, etc. Put in perspective, all those screw-ups are equal and we're all equally screwed up. Judging is pointless, particularly compared to being supportive of people.

Thanks! It was really tough but definitely worth it. I hurt a lot of people, even myself, put myself in a hole. Time to lose this fat. When I was on that, I was thin. (fit in a small) which for my size and height is crazy.. now I wear a L or XL and size 14 pants when I used to be an 8. Since I quit that I gained 50 pounds. I guess for all the time I was doing that and not eating or sleeping and having so much energy.. to overeating, not wanting to do anything.. putting on 50 pounds is really no fun... and I want to lose the weight naturally and slowly so that I don't put it back on this time. I want to fit in medium shirts comfortably, I want to wear size 6-8 pants again.
I'm so glad to be on this site where people help motivate each other and give positive feedback and don't kick me to the ground for the bad things that I have done.

That is the toughest, most claws-in-your-head stuff there is. If you can beat that, you can beat ANYTHING. This whole lose some weight business is going to be a walk in the park by comparison. :)

Another pound bites the dust.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

I weighed myself last night, I am now 227 pounds. When I started this journey back on May 28, 2011 I was 233 pounds. In 3 weeks I have managed to lose 6 pounds which is making me incredibly motivated to work harder, eat right and stay on track to becoming a new me!
I am going to be walking 3.9KMs tonight from Downtown to Westboro. Should be a fun little hike! (3.9 is 2.4 miles for the Americans wondering) Hopefully it isn't too hot this evening!
