Another pound bites the dust.

I weighed myself last night, I am now 227 pounds. When I started this journey back on May 28, 2011 I was 233 pounds. In 3 weeks I have managed to lose 6 pounds which is making me incredibly motivated to work harder, eat right and stay on track to becoming a new me!
I am going to be walking 3.9KMs tonight from Downtown to Westboro. Should be a fun little hike! (3.9 is 2.4 miles for the Americans wondering) Hopefully it isn't too hot this evening!

Went off course a slight bit this weekend, my friends wedding reception happened Friday night so there was a lot of snacking. I did get a chance to exercise for 50 minutes on Sunday so that's a plus. I did drop a pound :)
I ended up taking before pictures for when I end up losing a significant amount of weight, they are kind of embarrassing and discouraging to look at, but I'm sure I'll be able to keep myself motivated to lose the weight and becoming a healthier, more attractive person. 5 pounds less and 3 weeks gone by, 58 more to go! I can do this!

I feel like it's hard sometimes, to just drastically change your life and notice minimal results... wishing you lost more weight quicker but knowing that losing it slowly is the best way. I feel like 3 weeks has been along time to only lose 5 pounds. Considering my goal is 60. But I guess I will have to tell myself it is for the best. It is better to be losing weight slowly then to not lose weight at all. I can do ittttt!!
