Dream Wedding

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Well it is now June 24. I am so happy with how I was able to meet my goals and with what a perfect wedding and honeymoon I had. I started in January at 205 and ended on June 12 at 167! I did gain a couple pounds on the honeymoon but I'm back on track. I worked very hard to earn points to buy the spark goodie Dream Wedding and I did it. 10,000 points. That was a LOT of work and wore me out but it did help me reach goals and I did have a real dream wedding! Now I am going to work to stay between 1700 and 1800 calories a day and workout at least 45 minutes a day the rest of my life. Eventually I expect to reach 125 pounds and maintain that since 1760 calories are required to maintain that weight. But this way the pressure is off to obtain goals by a certain date and I can focus on a permanent lifestyle change and develop consistency. I saved a lot of articles during my quest to lose for the wedding and I am going to read those because I learned the articles keep me motivated and keep reminding me of how important it is for my good health, to manage my weight.

Thank you to all my spark friends who have supported me along my journey and thank you, God, for helping me reach goals and find this wonderful man I'm married to now.

Sometimes cake is hard to resist. As Paula Dean would say at least you got some vegetables! emoticon

I wish that was all that I had eaten. I weighed myself this morning for the first time since April (when my binge started) and I am up 9 pounds. Time to get back in gear. Try not to worry about the carrot cakr too much.

I am so overwhelmed that I'm having a hard time keeping up with my nutrition plan and getting stressed and overeating some of the time. So much is going on right now. I would like to get myself on track and catch up on emails and answer comments but I'm afraid to open my mail because I know I'm so far behind I wont know where to start! Anyway soon I will be wedded and honeymooned and I will play catch-up!!!!

When I feel this way I take a walk. I know it sounds stupid and an easy fix but by the time I get back home I can think with a clear head. It doesn't seem so overwhelming then. Try it, you never know.

It is hard to stay on track when you are busy and overwhelmed. And hey you have to much on your plate right now. Give yourself a break and don't beat yourself up over it. You can get back on track in a week or maybe two. We will give you one week after the wedding to breathe. LOL Hope all is okay and your day is everything you want it to be. You deserve the best. I sent you a tiara in sparkpoints so you could wear it for your big day. haha
Good luck to your future and see you back on track and back on here soon.

Don't let it all overwhelm you. The wedding is what's important right now, just concentrate on that. emoticon

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Sunday, May 24, 2009

I am so busy these days, with job hunting, dress fitting, and moving Rob in. I am so excited that I got a job at CURVES!!!! It was all because I went there for the 30 day study advertised on Sparkpeople. The manager there suggested I put in an application and I got the job. It is low pay and low hours. BUT it could work into management someday!! Rob is halfway moved in and I've had a hard time having any free time to contact my Sparkfriends. I've been sticking to my workouts and lowered my calories and lost 3.4 pounds in a week. I like how I look in my dress now!! I am getting married in 20 DAYS!! emoticon

WOW!!!! The Birthday love from Sparkfriends!!!!

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

Oh, my goodness. Besides my four children, and marrying the love of my life, Sparkpeople is about the best thing that's ever happened to me. I checked my mail today and had over a 100 emails, tons of messages, emails, and spark goodies. How can I thank you all enough. You are just awesome. It's like a big online birthday party. You guys, my old and new Spark Friends, have made my day!!!! I love you all. It will probably take a few days to answer it all, but I am so grateful.
