First of all hope all of you loving people had a wonderful Valentine's Day.

I have decided to try something new and a bit afraid of the side affects. I have heard and read reviews regarding SlimQuick so last night I decided to try it. After church I stopped by the drug store and purchased the Slimquick Cleanse. I will start it tomorrow but I am a bit afraid of the side affects while at work. It takes seven days so I guess it doesn't matter what day I start it I will be at work while doing it. I have also decided after the Cleanse I will start the Slimquick Extreme. I know it isn't the solution but was hoping for a jump start. I will let you know next week how the Cleanse when. Ready Set Go!!!!!

    Hello Tracie!!!!! It has been a very long time. Hasn't the snow been crazy this winter. My exercise lately has been shoveling the drive. Hope work is doing well for you considering the economy.

Tracking food is a must. It needs to be a habit. One in which I haven't been able to conquer completely yet. I have been keeping it in my head but I find it easy to forget somethings. The SlimQuick Cleanse hit me with cramps (not really bad) this morning before work. I must say it was like a faucet. But I am sure it depends on what you have to eat before and what your normal daily routine is. I have colon problems any way. Today once I was at work I was fine. I am sure it will hit me again in the morning. It is in capsule form so there is nothing to drink. Except the 8 ounces of water to get them down. You take four capsules at a time twice a day (lunch and bedtime). I will let you know more as the rest of the seven days go.

    Hi Tammy,

How are you doing!? It's been a long time, I'm trying to get in the habit of exercising and logging it on sparkpeople, it's been 15 days in a row now, so I would like to keep that up. I really like not seeing any blank spaces!

Next, I want to start logging my food again, did that yesterday - went over on calories, but at least I logged it all.

As for your SlimQuick - I will be interested to hear your feedback on it. I bought some colon cleanse, it was $39.99 at Walgreens - it was a drink mix you add to water or juice in the morning before eating anything. It did help move things along, but not out of control - so I had plenty of time to get to the bathroom. The thing I can't stand is drinking it! It tastes horrible and it thickens up quick.

I made fresh juice yesterday with my juicer and it tasted a LOT better and had the same results.

I've been working from home a lot due to all the snow. Today, I'm taking an online class just for something different. It's a required course to maintain my real estate license, so I figured I may as well make good use of being stuck here. My son is home again today, the last day he was in school was the 5th - and it was an early out due to snow.

I have been thinking on what I need to change to make sure I accomplish my goal of losing \fifty pounds by July 17th. There are several things that need changed. But the first one is going to cut out the regular pop. I started drinking regular pop after Christmas. I was out of my diet and thought I would drink the other to get rid of it. Big mistake. I still am going to want my diet pop though. Maybe if I have one can per day instead of the two or three I have been having. Then eventually one every two days etc. Until I just have it as a reward. But then again I don't know if something I am trying to give up would be a good thing to use as a reward.

Well, here I am again. Took some time off of Sparkpeople but really need to come back. A family member in NC has asked me to be her weight loss buddy. This is a good thing. I have recently found out I have a cousin getting married on July 17th in Kansas and I would love to lose 50 pounds by then. I know that sounds like a lot of weight in such a short time but I have figured there are 23 weeks before the event. I will have to lose a little over 2 pounds a week. This is not something that is outragous. I will however need to keep my butt moving.

Okay Erin let's do this. I will help you stay on track if you help me. LOL!

    Tammy, I have 1 2 year old grand daughter that has turned into our motivator. I've been exercising more because she say's, "Go, Gamama go!" I just showed her your picture here and told her that you are trying to lose weight too. She said, "Go T'ammy, Go!" We're in your corner. You can do it. emoticon

Week one of Biggest Loser down!

I have the first week of Biggest Loser under my belt. I weighed Friday and I have lost 1.8 pounds... was a bit disaapointed. I was hoping to lose 3. I was watching what I was eating. I was tracking. I added jogging to my exercise in the evenings. But I guess it wasn't enough. I have decided to use Sparkpeople's meal plan this week to see if that will help. This morning I reviewed the meal plans Spark gave me tweeked them a bit to my liking, using only substitues they suggested. I went to the flea market(farmers market) for my veggies and fruits for the whole week. I then headed to the grocery store for the rest. I am a bit excited to see if I like these new recipes. I am hoping the other two people in the household enjoys them too. So I am hoping that this week with the set meal plans and increased exercise that 4 pounds vanish away....LOL! Week Two of Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Bootcamp is over!

Thank you for the comments from the last blog. It is awesome to know that other members that are not apart of my teams are supporting me as well. Well, week two is over and was a bit easier than the first week. I lost two pounds and am excited. Before this challenge the scale wasn't moving except back and forth between two numbers. I was a bit discouraged to tell you the truth before this challenge. I had lost twenty some pounds previously using Sparkpeople and due to an injury gained it all back. So I knew I could get it off but it wasn't happening. Since the challenge I have lost FIVE pounds. It doesn't sound like a lot but I tell myself that is equivelant to five bags of dried beans. Really, looking at it that way.....that is amazing to lose in two weeks. (patting myself on the back : ) ) Read for week three.
