My big goal: To weigh less than 150 pounds by the time I turn 30. I've been set on this goal for so long, but now I'm not sure if it will be possible to reach that (in a healthy way). My deadline is March 1st, so that's only 20 days away. As of my weigh-in this morning, I have 5.5 pounds left to lose.
I've made some changes in February that I thought would make reaching my goal weight easier:
*I've cut out all pop! - A huge deal for me, I never thought I'd accomplish this in my LIFE!
*I began P90X on Feb. 1st and have successfully completed all the workouts so far! I even threw in some extra elliptical time last night.
* The way I eat is so much healthier. I'm really limiting processed foods.
* No more fast foods, deep fried, junk.
*No cookies, candies, crappy empty calories. When my sweet tooth strikes, I choose a cup of tea, a peice of sugar-free gum, light yogurt or some fruit
So...lots of positive changes. I'm just growing very impatient waiting for the scale to show it.

January began my refocus on my health. I will turn 30 on March first and I am determined to weigh less than 150 lbs by then. I started out the month at 161 and currently weigh 155.8. That's a weight loss of 6 pounds!
I have exercised 26 of 31 days in January!
I have drastically increased my fruits & veggies and decreased sweets, pop, and carbs.
I am focusing on including superfoods in my diet.
Now it's February and I have started P90X!

P90X & Church. Not usually 2 things that go together. Well, my church has been focusing on Positive Deviance. We have started a Stretch & Pray group that meets twice a week to work out. (I'll go into more detail about that later.) Our new idea for stretch & pray is to begin the P90X program. As of now we are planning to start on Feb. 1st. I don't know much about the program yet, especially the nutrition portion, but I'm going to learn!
Wow, I can't believe I'm going to do this. Holy Cow!
