the abs diet for women

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

emoticon down another 1/2 pound (2oo gms) having a great week and its not over yet. I am confident that I can do this and it's been really easy to keep up with the eating style of the abs diet for women. I'm so proud that this week Carol has invited me to become co-leader of this fantastic team and to help her to inspire you all to lead a healthy life style. I encourage anyone to come along and check out the team. You don't even need to count up your calories. Just be aware of your portion sizes. For more info check out the team thread on the power 12 and see if you like the foods on the list. www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_mes

A small step in the right direction

Monday, December 01, 2008

Okay I weighed in after loosely following the abs diet for women ( lets be honest now) I havent been and angel in the food department lately, and it shows in my weight loss. After six weeks I am down 1.2 kilograms which I am thankful for but know that I could have done so much better had I not let other stresses get to me. My only exercises have been the abs diet for women strength routine which is a good complete body workout and I have been doing this at least twice a week. In between cardio has been Turbo jam 20 mins workouts as my time has been under pressure with other commitments. I am still finding this diet easy to follow, my hardest problem (hard to believe) is not being hungry and having to make myself eat. The smoothies have been great as this for me, can replace a meal and still keep me satied.

OKAY. MY SELF CHALLENGE. I will be MUCH more organised and will eat more consistantly. Lets see how I go leading up to christmas.

is it week six already?

Friday, November 28, 2008

Boy time sure flies along. My eating hasnt been fantastic this week. (sigh) But I have managed to fit in strength training a few times which is good. Have been working a bit more which is good leading up to christmas to help with those extra expenses. The downside is I get less time at home. I weighed in this morning a few hundred grams heavier which is nothing really in the scheme of things. My bodyfat caliper reading is the same so thats not bad. I need to make more of an effort to exercise more often. I think this is my downfall. I have a really good week and then taper off. If other people can work live and have time to exercise then surely I can. The abs diet way of eating is really easy for me. Just need to say NO more often to those extra temptations. emoticon

week five. the abs diet.

Wednesday, November 19, 2008

well this week I am not weighing in. I checked with the calipers though and they still read the same which is good. My brother in law just turned 40 and he lives 3 hours away from us. We stayed for the weekend and attended his party with family we have not seen for a while which was good. I havent been strict with my diet these last few days and have tried to drink as much water as I can down. I havent exercised and have eaten to much bread. boy do I feel bloated. So home now and back on the smoothies and some exercise. Hopefully I will get back on track pretty quickly and continue my path to success. emoticon

week four of the abs diet

Sunday, November 09, 2008

Well another week has come to an end. I have had a good week. My eating has been good and importantly for me I have managed to control the urges for snacks. (mostly) my weight has dropped a little and so has my bodyfat percentage which is GREAT for me. Slowly but surely I will win this race. emoticon

I saw you joined our SP class and wanted to say welcome. Also wondered how you are measuring your loss in body fat? I have not had a lot of progress either in lbs. lost but have seen some changes in measurements and strength and flexibility improvements. Keep up your progress!
