For Day Ending 10/19 (Sat) - Sleep Diary

What time did you wake up today? 9:45-9:50am

What time are you lying down to go to sleep? 2:30 am (ended up not going to bed at the time I thought because I started cutting out words for my latest journal project and lost track of time.)

What, if any, was your bedtime routine? - Pills, moisturize, read

What were the last food(s) you consumed tonight? Dinner - Indian - though I can already tell my stomach is a little unsettled. Will take a tums before going to sleep.

Did you exercise today? Yoga, and a set of specific stretches for my shoulders

Did you consume any alcoholic beverages today? Nope

Did you consume any caffeinated drinks or foods today? 2 Cups of coffee - Morning

Did you take any medications (prescription and/or over-the-counter) today? (Standard routine - Yes)

Did you take any naps today? No

What types of stressors did you encounter today, and what types do you expect to encounter tomorrow? -

Working on Kat's necklace is turning into a bit of a challenge, and a struggle to control the perfection freak inside of me and let the creative energy flow out. I had a mild set of stressors today - going out to dinner with two of our friends that I don't normally go out to dinner with, but they invited us. (Dinner and me and small talk - not really good)

Tomorrow - need to do more than a few hours of work. I really need to put some limits on the computer time.

How hungry did you feel today? Moderate to Semi-moderate. Mostly around 3-4pm

How awake did you feel today? Very alert

How irritable did you feel today? Not really

Inner Thoughts:

My mind has been racing around about how to network better, how to promote myself and my craft better, and realized that I am not really looking at the first level network, friends and family close enough. Tonight I bartered for 2 hours of a tech writer to work on my newsletter with me, in exchange - he gets 10 custom Christmas cards made to his liking. This started me thinking of another angle to my business - connectors.

Anyway, more tomorrow as I look into this idea more.

How long did it take you to fall asleep last night? - 5 minutes - I was out before my husband came to bed.

How many times did you wake up during the night? - 3 maybe 4 I can't recall actually

In total, how many hours did you sleep last night? - 8ish hours

Energy Level - Medium to Medium high

Stress Level - Low

Quality of Sleep - Good

Self-Esteem - Good

Dreams recalled: None that I can post publicly. They were a bit strange to start with and even more with people I wouldn't or haven't even considered in a romantic or sexual way and me being a man even more odd.

(I do want to write them down because there is something there - especially the switching genders and being Male instead of female - just will do it in my off line journal)

What time are you lying down to go to sleep? 1:00 am

What, if any, was your bedtime routine? - Pills, moisturize, read

What were the last food(s) you consumed tonight? Dinner - 10:00pm

Did you exercise today? Yoga and Strength training

Did you consume any alcoholic beverages today? No

Did you consume any caffeinated drinks or foods today? 1 Cup of coffee - Morning

Did you take any medications (prescription and/or over-the-counter) today? (Standard routine - Yes)

Did you take any naps today? No

What types of stressors did you encounter today, and what types do you expect to encounter tomorrow? -
Just minor frustration with nothing still selling. Tomorrow I am going outside to take more pictures and post more stuff. I still have my newsletter to finish so I can take it with me on Monday to the luncheon.

How hungry did you feel today? Light to medium by dinner time.

How awake did you feel today? -Low energy but awake

How irritable did you feel today? Not really. Just low energy, low everything.

How long did it take you to fall asleep last night? - 20 maybe less -I really can't recall given I was so sleepy when i went to bed. I don't even recall the lights being turned off.

Energy Level - Mediuam

Stress Level - Low

Quality of Sleep - Good - though there was this really weird dream (adding a new part to this - Dreams recalled) I woke up at 7 and took pain meds because of my hips and promptly went back to sleep.

Self-Esteem - Good (working on two new necklace designs)

Inner Thoughts:

I really didn't have much last night other than I think I have grown tired of Supernatural (we've been watching the series through Netfix) And last night I think I hit saturation. Time to put it on the shelf for a while and watch one of the other backlogged series we have in the queue.

Dreams recalled

Two dreams in particular the pieces of;

1: Had a dream where Chrys was in kindergarten But it wasn't any school she really was at when she was a child. There were so many 'differences' that I became very aware this was just a dream

2: Something about streets going nowhere. I remember looking at this map and the streets just went nowhere. They made no sense why they were there.

Both these dreams left me with this vague feeling this morning that I am not looking at something real, factual, actually what had happened/happening. Need to think more on this.

If I already wasn't into two designs I would do a paperbag journal/collage on truth and the perception of it.

Low energy day - reflective

293 - still 293 and holding. Though my arms are more toned, I can bend farther, and stretch better, and feel a little more flexible, but - still holding at 293.

Not sure why the number means anything to me anymore. The goal for me is to be flexible, more resilient, more movable, have better breathe control, less pain, able to get up off the floor after exercises without any help.

Ate my breakfast - read the different blogs I like to keep up with, and did a little more planning on my house activities.

Last night, took care of part of the rose bush out front, though I plan to tonight start at 5pm to do some more work on that area - and then watch the Blood moon come up, while eating homemade Jambalaya. I figure if I give 1 hour each day to the yard - 1 hour min to the house and the rest to my craft in some way - that I might actually get ahead of the curve here.

But today is low energy day, so no matter what I do it has to be something that can be done sitting or with little impact.

For Day Ending 10/17 (Thur) - Sleep Diary

What time did you wake up today? 10:15 am

What time are you lying down to go to sleep? 12:30 am

What, if any, was your bedtime routine? - Pills, moisturize, read

What were the last food(s) you consumed tonight? Dinner - 9:00pm

Did you exercise today? Yoga and heavy gardening (the rose bushes and trees needed trimming)

Did you consume any alcoholic beverages today? No

Did you consume any caffeinated drinks or foods today? 1 Cup of coffee - Morning

Did you take any medications (prescription and/or over-the-counter) today? (Standard routine - Yes)

Did you take any naps today? No (almost at 4pm)

What types of stressors did you encounter today, and what types do you expect to encounter tomorrow? - Nothing really for stressors today. Tomorrow may be a stressful day since I am meeting up with with folks from former work who wanted to give me a going away luncheon, which I think is very sweet. We will see how well it turns out.

How hungry did you feel today? Light to medium by dinner time.

How awake did you feel today? - Very awake, actually was more awake than I thought I would be.

How irritable did you feel today? Actually did pretty good, two little moments (one about a project I asked my husband to take care of weeks ago, which he didn't and corn....don't ask)

How long did it take you to fall asleep last night? - 30 minutes maybe

How many times did you wake up during the night? - TOO MANY

In total, how many hours did you sleep last night? - Not even sure given the fact that I woke up so many times last night, 7:30 when the alarm went off for Dan so he could go to his DR appointment, then at 8:45 for a phone call, rescheduling our lunch date for Monday, dozed some more to 10:30 when he came back, dozed some more until 12:30 pm. - Feel like I am coming down with something :(

Energy Level - VERY LOW...

Stress Level - low thank goodness

Quality of Sleep - Terrible.

Self-Esteem - Bleh. Going to do sorting and cleaning today, not very artsy either.

Inner Thoughts:

I realized its been almost two weeks since my termination, and I really still haven't gotten use to that term - termination. It just feels wrong. When you quit a company everyone is all happy for you. When you're terminated even if it is the best for both sides (which I was very unhappy with the position and stressed out to the max) it feels so vile, so cuthroat, undercover, even like a criminal, which this wasn't about. This was - they didn't have a job for my skill set and I didn't want to stay doing what I was doing which was miserable. But I still feel like some tossed worn out garment.

Musings and such

Today - I spent a little investment time in working out a spreadsheet for all the little activities around the house and yard that I want to do and sorta did this grouping of 1 hour projects so I do something each day.

I've started breaking my day into sections so I can build up new habits for making time for walking, exercising and meditation - along with my business and my housework.

I plan on creating a - daily checkin blog entry similar to my sleep journal but haven't quite figured out the ins and outs of it. Should be interesting.
