“To choose or not to choose…”
The older we get, the more we realize that the choice to be happy or unhappy is our own. Sure, there will be times where things don’t go our way. We’ll feel unhappiness, sorrow, even depression. But, our agency determines how we cope with these challenges.
This doesn't mean that we should feel guilty about being sad or depressed. Everyone experiences “down” days. Melancholy moments can bring great wisdom if we think them through.
But, the truth is that you always have a choice. You can choose to stay stuck in unhappiness and resentment, or, choose to let go and feel fulfillment lighten your load.
If you’re unhappy, unsatisfied or merely ambiguous, make today the day you put it all behind you. Choose to feel the joy in your life again.
You always have a choice. Why not make it great?

emoticon “Get Motivated, Get Active, Get Fit!”
Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to stick to a lifestyle change when you do it with a friend? A friend sticks by your side and brings motivation, accountability and cheers of enthusiasm.
When you get fit with a friend, you have someone who shares your victories. You can both celebrate and be proud of your accomplishments.
Stop waiting for that perfect day to make some changes and join forces with a friend. Make the commitment to one another that you will stick together through thick to thin.
Eating well, being active and feeling good about yourself are essential to feeling healthy, alert and alive. You already know this. So why not start now?

emoticon“Every woman holds the power to do great things.”
Yes, it’s true! No “if-ands-or-buts.” Once you believe this, you set yourself free to achieve the meaningful things you want to do in your life.
If you are looking outside yourself for the key to success then stop! Success is already inside you and always has been. Right now recognize it and own it. Don’t be afraid to step up and be yourself.
You deserve greatness!

It is only through having goals that we can monitor our progress.

When she approached the fork in the road Alice asked the Cheshire Cat which road she should take. The cat asked where she wanted to go. When Alice replied that it didn't matter, the cat told her that then it didn't matter which road she took.

Wake up every day vowing to do one positive action to move you closer to your goal.

Make Today a Great Day!

emoticon “Do what you love – and excitement will follow.”
When you follow what you love in life, challenges can be tough because the stakes are high. You set your whole heart on reaching your goal and you want, so badly, to succeed!
It’s not always easy. But, doing what you love means that, each morning, you awaken with passion and excitement at your core.
It means you’re finding hidden strengths you didn't know you possessed. And, you’re equipped to get over obstacles and disappointments with grace.
Most of all, it means no regrets. No matter what, you’re living an exciting life, doing what you were born to do.

emoticon “Only women know the difference between off-white, cream and ivory.”
Imagine how dull life would be if you only saw things in black and white. What if all the infinitely wonderful shades that we, as women, are able to appreciate turned to shades of gray?
Our greater sensitivity enables us to find magic within the ordinary. Maybe it’s our sense of style and innate creativity. Or could it be we know there’s much more pleasure in having three colorful sweaters, instead of just one white one?
Never under estimate your abilities, your creativity and your sensitivity. With all these talents no one can deny that you are an amazing human being!
