Retaining some water this morning, but I really think I'm losing a little--slowly, slowly though. I WILL lose this protruding tummy and spare tire. For this week, I'm happy--avoided wine on the ferry 3 nights out of 4, got in a mid-week strength training session, and started taking fiber supplement. Need to do some reading and decide on mini goals for the coming week.

Somewhat restless night--weird dreams, not scary, just weird. Today I'm off work. Will take car for smog test midmorning and hang out at library while I wait. Planning a Thai vegetable curry over fresh rice noodles for dinner. Weight is down another pound today from 154 to 152.8.

Pretty good night--SleepMax, no Trazadone. Found SleepMax at 4th Walgreen's I tried. It's the only OTC sleep aid that seems to help me. Felt pretty upbeat and positive yesterday. Finding nutrition tracking tedious but know it's necessary to know how I'm doing. Promised myself I could have a Perrier/Pelligrino on the ferry if I didn't have wine.

Better night. Wanted to snooze but got up and went to HBC for 20 minutes strength training and stretch, followed by reward of 10 min. in hot tub. Found an inspirational article yesterday of 12 things successful people do before noon--got One Note set up to track these along with my usual to do list. New panini maker is nice--did a grilled egg/cheese/onions/peppers/daiya cheese shreds on flatout bread for breakfast (fried the egg first).
