Friday, August 10, 2012

Had a bad night, took a whole sleeping pill and still just took short naps. Today, therefore, will be a challenge. Weight down a little to 154 but still almost 2 lbs over Aug 1st. Did 12 minutes of abs, squats and lunges at home. One water bottle is filled and in the freezer--have had 3 glasses already since midnight.

Met fast break goals for first 3 days. Weight is up again--it's so discouraging. Have to push through this. Will walk before work and pick up healthy lunch stuff and sparkling water at Safeway. I know I can do this. Got in 12118 steps and had full liter bottle of sparkling water.

Just finished tracking for yesterday. Did 11527 steps yesterday. Today I'm heading out shortly for strength training and spin. Cravings were bad yesterday, hoping they'll recede today. New Kindle Fire finally arrived last evening--yea!

Finished my tracking for yesterday first thing. Planned my walking time around my work schedule. 3 solid hrs of conf calls to start the day. Farmers market visit for a few fresh veggies and hopefully some interesting dried beans from the Italian market in Ferry Bldg.

  


The journey begins . . . again

Today I begin the weight loss journey again. First steps will be tracking, water and daily 10 minute exercise. I've stopped Trazodone which can cause weight gain so I'm hopeful that will help; so far I'm sleeping pretty well with Sleep Max (otc). Now that I've had my breakfast and first cup of coffee, I'll fill my water bottles and chill, and take a 15 minute walk.
