CONQUER THE FAT-LOSS CODE

Wednesday, July 02, 2014

WELL I JUST HAD TO TRY SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT SO I BOUGHT THIS BOOK AT THE USED BOOK STORE FOR .50 CENTS. I LASTED ALL OF 4 DAYS BEFORE I KNEW THAT I REALLY MISSED HAVING MY APPLE AND PEANUT BUTTER SNACK. AND HAVING GRAPEFRUIT ONCE A WEEK DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. I REALLY DON'T LIKE TAKING LIPOTROPIC BEFORE A WORKOUT AND AFTER A VITAMIN C AND THEN I HAD TO TAKE L-CARNITINE AND THEN THEIR WAS A SUPPLEMENT CONTAINING CHROMIUM. THIS PLAN MAY WORK FOR YOU BUT IT'S NOT FOR ME! I hope that this does not keep you from trying this food plan ......I'm happy to be different! emoticon
Now what did I learn in these 4 days...

Thanks for checking out the book. Where did you find the lipotropic and the chromium-containing supplement? Well, Spark is always talking about natural is best.

Don't eat the CAKE

Thursday, January 02, 2014

Well the one thing that I love to do is bake cakes and this one was for the employees at QMT in Manassas Va. My son worked there and attended NOVA, now he attends VT. He asked if I could fix a cake for them and so on Tuesday I showed up with this. He has been working there while he is off for winter break. This is a locally own wind chime co. The people that he works with are wonderful!

What a lovely cake. You sure have a good hand for decorations! I love wind chimes, and I'm glad the people at the company are good for your son.

You were wonderful for baking the cake. I love to help my 5 yr old grandson bake cakes and cupcakes and muffins. However, my weakness is after they are cool and we have put icing on them and decorated them I LOVE to HELP HIM EAT THEM. LOL

Christmas eve we decided to be a blessing. Our friend had a family death two weeks ago...we decided to do a brunch for Christmas morning for them. The girls I work with all pitched in.
Charlotte did a big Greek yogurt parfait
Michelle precooked fresh pork sausage
Helen brought cookies
Kathy fixed homemade cranberry muffins
Beth gave OJ and Mango OJ
I cooked 1lb. bacon and Pecan French toast
This morning Grandpa Ray will not be there with them to fix pancakes but I know they will smile and feel Loved! BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING!

The pavement tryed to get me...

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Well it's a beautiful 72 degrees outside so Eric and I went for a bike ride. We drove to Harris Teeter and unloaded the bikes. We got on the Linton Hill Trail and rode 6 1/2 miles. I only hit the pavement once-My thought(Is my Bike OK?) I can't beleive I hit the pavement-I have front suspension on my new bike and when I stopped and leaned forward I fell off. The only thing hurt is my Pride. That's a good lesson learned- emoticon emoticon

I have hit the pavement more times that I can count. It was usually since I have not unclipped my shoes from the pedals.
What wonderful weather to ride in too. emoticon

Bull Run Mountain

Saturday, October 16, 2010

Well my husband asked if I would like to take a easy hike with the scouts--I said how easy? Very little hills! Ha-Ha Well I'm alive and very proud of the 2 young scouts and the 3 teenager and the 3 adult men. I walk, climbed 4 1/2 miles and enjoyed the most beautiful day. We stopped and had a nice lunch before going down, I found Cobblestone Mill Wheat sub rolls and filled with lettuce, sweet peppers, cucumbers and onions and when we got ready to eat I pulled out a can of tuna salad (fat free). Vegetables, bread, protein and a zip lock bag of craisans. I drank lots of water and this was a great hike-I might do this again. emoticon
