Welcome Spring. ?

Yesterday I was able to get outside and do a little bit of work in the yard!!!! It was a wonderful feeling. I have plans for some projects out there early this year, and I am looking forward to the great exercise!!! I have a long way to go to reach my March goal, but I AM getting back on track this week.......starting today!!!!! I can do this!!!!!!

  YES, you can do it. I ,too, love working in the yard feeling the fresh air and warm sun on my face. Feels like a gentle caress from God Himself.

Lazy days.....

Oh my gosh, I have been feeling rather lazy these days!! BUT, I am preparing my kitchen for a partial redoing, so that is keeping me a little on the busy side. Today they are coming to measure for the new countertops, so I will have an install date this afternoon, I hope!!! I am looking to do quite a bit of reorganizing in the house in the next few months. This will keep me on my toes, and add some activity to the normal exercise that I should be doing anyway! So I have set March as my target month to really get myself moving. T he weather will get brighter and nicer, so no excuses in that department!!! Of course I am not waiting until Friday to start, as I believe that there is no time like the present emoticon

I am really looking forward to Spring!!! I plan to get outside and work in my gardens and also benefit from the extra movement, fresh air, and exercise!!! I miss the track at the school up the street too. In the early months of the year, it is just too muddy to use. It is a nice change to the regular routine, to go up there for a nice 3 mile walk emoticon I am still lacking in the motivational department, perhaps it is the weather, I don't know.... But everyday I start with a fresh new outlook. I hope that everyone who is reading this blog has a wonderful day!!

    I'm not motivated to work the garden when it's a cold b raining c windy and we have had all the above but I did put my hubby to work on a project to make vertical strawberry gardens from PVC pipes

Friday's results...

After my week of no snacking after dinner, I lost 2 pounds emoticon But if you add in the weight gain from over last weekend, when I completely went off the deep end, my weight loss from Monday to Friday is 5.2 pounds.

So, was it hard not to snack after dinner every night?? Surprisingly it was not so hard. I think that once you set your mind to it, and know that the end result is going to be pleasing, it really does make it easier.

Will I continue along with my no snacking after dinner??? Absolutely! Now I need to beef up my exercise routine. It has been so cold here this week, I just have not wanted to do much in the way of exercise. Had I been a little more active, I may have lost a few more ounces. So, next week I will be adding more activity into my days.
