Today's weight 188.4 (half a pound lost, better than nothing).

I adjusted my goal (10 pounds in 2 months), and adjusted my cardio (more) so I can eat up to 1700 calories a day.

I still think 1700 is pretty low, but what do I know, I'm overweight LOL.

1) I've been having pain in my left foot for a few months now and because I'm defiant I didn't get it checked out until yesterday. I have tendonitis - the podiatrist gently scolded me for not wearing my orthotics enough and also for not having supportive shoes. So I'll be buying new shoes in the next few weeks and wearing them a lot more.

I really didn't want to believe the doctor - like maybe he's exaggerating the problem? But he kinda scared the crap out of me and said I would need surgery if I didn't let it get better. I really want to do the half marathon clinic starting in June, and I've signed up for two more dance classes...

2) The CPAP has been hit or miss. I put it on and I find it hard to relax and fall asleep with it. I keep trying.

3) I feel really old - like I'm having old lady problems and I'm only 32!

4) I've set a goal to lose 10 pounds - I'm hoping it will help my foot pain and sleep apnea? I'm tracking my food and sharing everything in order to stay accountable. I promise myself I will eat when I'm hungry (not restrict myself just to reach my calorie goal for the day. If I go over a bit that's ok for crying out loud! I'm such a perfectionist with some things).

    Here´s an old lady with problem like yours - sleep apnea and aching feets... and if I had known what it would be like I might have been more careful at 32 to take care of myself!

    Yep! Get rid of the pounds and it will help the Apnea and Tendonitis! Great job with setting small goals, and making yourself accountable! emoticon It will pay off in the long run!

    Amen about not sweating the small stuff (last entry). I think your goal to lose 10 is a good one, and will definitely help with the CPAP, and maybe the foot, too!

    I had to give up on mine - after a month of trying I never managed to sleep with it on, I could fall asleep but woke up after half an hour and had to take it off. Congrats to you!

    I remember when I first got mine. The only thing more dear to me in bed was DW. Enjoy your rest. Don't need it anymore. Lost enough weight to get the relief I needed.

Adventures in sleepiness

1) I had my second test at the sleep lab last night (with the CPAP mask on). The mask goes over your nose and attaches around your head with two straps. It's not uncomfortable but I do remember having a dream about a butterfly being on my face.

2) I have an appointment to get my own mask on Wednesday morning.

3) I only slept for about 3 hours so I'm very tired today. It reminds me of when I used to have hangovers, but not nearly as bad and minus the nausea.
