Lost Motivation...

I seem to have fallen overboard this week:( I lacked motivation badly. Work has been stressful and I have been overwhelmed. I usually use this as motivation in my working out...not this time. I have been making poor choices in eating habits, slacking on the working out, and had way too many adult drinks last night. BUT I forced myself into the gym today and it is going to be a beautiful weekend. One set back isn't that awful...time to turn it around! emoticon

    I was having the same kind of week! We went out to dinner on the weekend, and I splurged for a big burger AND a couple of adult drinks. Then I came home and had another adult drink! Yesterday I was craving homemade cookies so decided on oatmeal with Heath chips in them. I opened that bag of Heath chips and started eating them by the handful! Couldn't stop. Once the cookies were baked, I gobbled down 5 like a drug addict. Had 2 more later! Was so disgusted with myself and ended up with a bellyache in the night as a result of those cookies! Am starting fresh again today and am eating better & making good choices so far.

  While you're dusting yourself off and getting back on track, just know that we are happy for you emoticon emoticonI personally think that a slip up or even a down right fall can be used in a good way:
1. Makes you human
2.Can remind you to be compassionate to others
3.Helps you know how to help others in ,words,deeds,actions,or silence
4.That you can get back up
5.That our brain has a remarkable way of allowing us to forget all the screw ups we make

Battling the Bulge

Been stuck on this plateau for MANY weeks now. The scale is no longer budging, so I am done using it for awhile. I am concentrating on measurements now. I am going to measure every week for a month and see if that makes a difference. emoticon I will beat this! I have started mixing up my workouts. I no longer do the same thing everyday. Seems to help alot! I am focusing more on eating healthy and counting calories just a bit more than normal. I can do this!!! I have been successful for the past 6 months and giving up is not an option.

    Great attitude! Change up in workouts has help me over the hump as well.
