I'm all tak and no game

So I have totally fallen off the track and down the hill. I haven't worked out in weeks. Not even a little. I have been eating whatever i want. I even caught myself doing what I call fat people eating. You know those things that some of us put together and we know other skinny people would never eat. Afterwards I felt so horrile...but that still wasn't enough for me to get up off my butt and workout.

So starting tommrow becasue I am at school till late tonight I am going to start changing. Going to stock my house with healthy food. Take the stairs at school. Get some cardio in teh morning and stay on track with my other life goals. Talking won't change the problem it takes actual work.

I am capable of doing the work. I am the only person who can do the work and if I dont do it i will be stuck in this body and place in my life forever. In the long run I know this won't make me happy.

So this month Im all game and no talk.....shifting into best mode

  Its ok to fall off track once in a while. the hard part is realizing you still need to get back up and try again. You should be proud of yourself for taking that step and remember that no matter how much it takes it will be worth every minute.

Laugh and the world laughs with and they wonder what your up to.

Today I learned something important

So the inportant thing that I learned about myself is that when I don't sleep I have no motivation. Like one at all. When I sleep past 8 in the morning I feel even worse than if I would ahve gotten up early. One of the things I am going to work on is to get to sleep on time. Or at least not so late in the night. Hopefully that will also cut down on my late night cravings for Taco Bell. My midnight firend lol


August goals

Hello everyone. It is the beginning of the month so that maesn it is time to set this months goals. This month they go a litlle like this:

1. Take some full body pics. I want to be able to have a refrence point. Even thinking about taking them in my i said ...thinking about it lol

2.Continue to take the stairs everyday at school. This has been working well for me ( except for the one day i only made it to the second floor and then took the elevator to the 5th floor....that was not my best moment :( Also since I have committed myself to tkaing the stairs there have been less trips to my car for change for the vending machine. yay willpower

3. Keep up on my studying and reading.

4. Make 3.8 GPA for this quarter

5. Do a bettter job at time management. ie fitting in flashcard and dishes and kids all that jazz you know?

6. Work out at least 4 times a week and doing my 15 mins of yoga and body stretching everyday

7. Clean eating. I got this awesome noew cookbook but it isnt a healthy one so here lately i have been tempted to cook and blow all my calories but so far I have resisted. My goal to overcome this is to find a bunch of sparkpeople recipes and then print them off to use instead.

8. and last but not least. write down 3 things I like about myself everyday.

No motivation

I have no motivation here lately. Like not even a drop. I don't wanna work out. I don't want to clean I don't want to do anything. I just lay on my couch and think about working out but I never do any more than that. I have to find a way to fix it otherwise I'm never going to get anywhere with my weight loss goals. I can already feel the excuses and old mind set start to creap back up. I think I need to find a buddy to help keep me accountable.

So for the rest of this week my mini goals are:
1. NO POP- water only
2. Workout ttommrow and sunday
3. Take the stairs everyday up and down at school. My body is strong. I t can handle a little work
4. Set goals for next week on Monday

Alright people. Round two is about to begin for me. Ding. Ding.

    I know exactly how you feel :) With me, I kick butt for the first month, see a nice little weight loss, and then I just want to sit down and watch tv and shove food in my mouth. This is the first time that I've been able to power through the second month of my diet :) The difference this time? I have a team of supporters behind me every step of the way. Two of my closest friends were once heavy and lost all their weight, so they know exactly what I'm going through. I have someone at work who pumps me up, and I bought exercise equipment for the house. You know, just in case I get in one of those moods where I refuse to leave the house and get in the car to drive to the gym. If you need a buddy to motivate you, I can help! Even if you want me to text you every day or email you or something, I can be a pushy mother F**er lol :)

    You can do it! You have some great and attainable goals there! I had a no motivation day yesterday, and gave in to the excuse that I had a raging headache. Today's a new day though! Keep us posted please! emoticon

Vending machine temptations

At school on break and I have found it is better to not go in the break room to eat. My lovely freind the vending machine is there and it whisphers bad things in my ears. Like eat these cookies. Eat these donut sticks. I have chips you know you want a bag... or two. I'm trying really hard to say no and stay strong . What tips do you use to keep from eating somewhere or something you shouldnt?

    Hello, I live in a rest home and there is a snack cart on the way to the dining room. It is free! About 2 weeks ago I started back on Sp. and don't visit the cart as often as I did before. It's really hard to get enough calories while staying away from really rich, greasy food at meal times. We very seldom have fresh fruit, etc, Sometimes the snack cart is the best choice. I try to only eat the low cal-low fat choices. I really don't have any miracle advice, but I do know how you feel. Stay away from the break room! God Bless You, Cheryl
