my journey towards a healthier lifeMonday, April 30, 2012Today is my frist day. As the day started off i was excited and felt good about completing my frist strength workout. i was even proud of myself for doing a 20 minute walk afterwards. Then as the day went by i found that excitment that i had was going away. Then i saw how much calories i consummed today and now i'm discourgaed. the thoughts of i can't do this is starting to creep in. I want this so badly. ![]()

Great start! Don't let a couple of poor choices lead you get discouraged. You are MORE than numbers on a scale. You made some great choices already and there are more successes to come. Hey, you have done great!! Just by being here, you have made that first big step towards a healthier you!! And ST & walking-that's awesome!! It's tough to work on everything at once, but think of small changes that lead to huge successes down the road!! I PROMISE if you will come here each day, use the trackers and learn from them, and NEVER GIVE UP, you will amaze yourself at what you can achieve!! I know you want this badly, and together with the help of your new Spark family, you WILL succeed!! But you have to be patient & forgiving with yourself!! you can do it!!! Most people diet but don't exercise and you did that!!. Just try to eat more fruits and veggies instead of chips or cookies and such. If their is something you crave and just have to have eat it one day later this week or just have a small taste of it. Browse through the spark as it has soooooooooo much info to offer and great recipes too. Make gradual changes you can live with. Report Inappropriate Comment |
