ok first i would like to say that I am doing a 40 day challenge with my coworkers to exercise 30 minutes a day. Also, because of LENT, i am giving up Fast food. For a while, it has become an issue because i seem to always be in a hurry for lunch or too busy so i end up eating take out or fast food!
My love for french fries is undescribable, I always say I've never met a potato i didnt
One of my favorite veggies, but not the best choice..i know!!
So for now, fast food has to go!!

Yesterday 3/5/14 i did core workouts for 30 minutes, i almost quit after about 15 minutes, because the trainer i use to have has taught me very exerting core workouts, but i love it and dont like it! I use to complain about how much it hurt and he would laugh and say GOOD!


update: LENT went very fast food!

ok, i reread my old blogs and see it is a trend to start, stop, start , stop....and now I am starting again!
I am just going to get right into this...
My goals for the week:
1. Limit alcohol.
2. Minimize the sugar.
3. Exercise daily (anything).

Here I go again..on my own....

Here I go again....
Now i have really been slacking on the workouts..ughh! I am not motivated! I hate feeling like this. i want to go running or walking after work, but all i can think of when i get off of work is going home and having a beer or a glass of wine. I know its bad, and i know better. But its me trying to unwind. No i do not drink everyday, that would really not be good. But i do think about it. I am not really much of a drinker, but a girl can Seriously tho, Lately i have been giving in to my sweet tooth. This week alone....i've had gummy bears, hot tamales, an individual apple pie, a candy bar, 2 sm. pieces of baklava, a bag of chips, and a scoop of ice cream. (not all at the same time, but i am having something daily.)
I know its alot! i have been craving sweets like nobodys business. Tomorrow i am heading to the grocery store to buy fruit and veggies to munch on, instead of going for the candy.

I am trying to focus on my wellness. I had a massage yesterday, now i am sore cause my muscles were so tense prior to the massage. However, I am really trying to get back into the workout groove, i want to go hiking but have never been, so if anyone has any suggestions on where to go, how to prep..feel free to share.
I know i just have to get back into it and DO IT!
My goals for this week and/or til the next blog post:
1. Start walking....
2. Begin working out.
3. Keep the sweets to a minimum or not at all.
4. Eat more fruits and veggies
5.drink more water and tea.

OKAY, THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS, CONFESSIONS AND GOALS.. Good luck to me and to all of you. Its been a bad weeek!


It's LENT time again....

I have officially given up soda for LENT. I was doing okay before, but noticed I was drinking soda more often than ever and I was Loving every sip of it. I also noticed that it was taking a toll on my weight and energy level. I would have that caffeine crash early, so I started getting lazy.
Well LENT is always a good time to reflect on our bad habits and what we want to change in our lives. So i chose to give up Sodas, and i think by day 3 I was craving them bad. I wanted one soooo bad. I also chose to give up laziness. I'm struggling with that but i will admit i have gotten more done now than ever. so its not so bad.
