If your party can run the nation for eight years, and then have a national convention and not invite Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, Karl Rove or Tom DeLay, you're not a political movement. You're the witness protection program.

The Roots of Obama's Rage

"This book sounds like a lot of bull pucky to me. First of all, Obama had met his father but did not have enough time with him to get this rage the book talks of. Secondly, why would a person with this kind of rage work in Chicago the way he did before even getting his law degree? Does not compute. Be not fooled. The American Dream was chipped away by bought politicians who let reasonable government regulations on banking and wall street expire in favor of the rich. And that's where we should feel the rage. Let history decide, but I am voting for Obama again, because the alternative is death to many vulnerable Americans. Mark my words.

One star for good looking cover."

LOL...."one star for good looking cover" Don't judge a book by it's good looking cover....it might be nothing but, the ranting of a third rate hack.

I too, wonder how much negative influence Barack Obama's father could have had. Obama Sr. was absent from his life....mostly all of his life. The lack of his father's attention could be what drives President Obama to help those that lack the resources that could make them successful.

Living in Illinois, I have watched Barack Obama's progress. From the beginning I was impressed by his character. Are you aware that at one point, the Republicans brought in a "carpet bagger" from Maryland...Alan Keyes to run against him for the Senate. Obama trounced him "In the November 2004 general election, Obama received 70% of the vote to Keyes's 27%, the largest victory margin for a statewide race in Illinois history"

It's incredible to me that lengths that the right has gone to paint this false picture of of our President. They must really feel threatened. It also proves that have nothing for us, nothing to make us want to vote for them so they resort to fabrications, innuendo and misdirections to scare people into thinking Obama is dangerous. What a bunch of HOOEY!

    You're fabulous.

They think that fear is going to win them the Presidency. I'm afraid too. I'm afraid of them and their hysterical pathological racist anger.

Their convention said it all. They are the party of old rich white men.

There are a lot of books and even a couple of movies with this kind of drivel. I look at the authors name and pass on the hating of our first multi-race president. Also voting for Obama, because the alternative seems to be returning to the past where everybody knew their place and stayed there.

And vote we will. Interestingly enough, all of this republican whining just strengthens the resolve of the Democrats. They have not been this unified in a long time.

When asked to give a fair and balanced view, I respond...

Sunday, September 02, 2012

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. The Republicans have plenty of supporters: The Koch brothers, Karl Rove...they are giving millions and millions so that Romney/Ryan can get their message across. Unfortunately they do not espouse any credible information and are not forthcoming in giving us the real truth and transparency. Therefore, they are pretty much on the Dark Side. My mission is to put forth the Light Side. To let people know that the American Dream is gone for the middle class. That the poor class is growing by leaps and bounds. Romney has no plan for preventing this. His plans are for creating more poverty for us and more wealth for him and the other rich people. I find the Republican platform to be evil and I will not discuss it because it is so blatantly againsty you and me! They are the moneychangers and Jesus would turn their tables over!
Peace, Gayle

They don't want fair and balanced. They don't want to think about the truth.

I'm voting for Obama.

God Bless all the people who think that it's their job to tell you to be fair and balanced because, if they truly believe the crock of compost that the Republicans are dishing out, they are going to need all of God's help to keep from falling into hole they are digging to bury the compost.

Whew....that came out all in one in breath.

You're not a news network, you don't need to be fair and balanced, lol.

Try checking out the "Spark Conservatives/Republicans" team if you want to hear some REAL racist, misogynist bushwa!

On second thought, this IS a wellness site and it would not do your blood pressure any good. ;)

It just blows me away that people think it's their place to tell you how to write your blog.

If they want to air their political opinions, they have their own Spark Pages to write on. Why must they pressure you to support their opinions?

As I've said many times, I don't begrudge Mitt his millions. He earned them through luck, work, and profitable business choices.

What I resent is that he thinks it's perfectly OK for those with the most to pay the least.

What I resent is that he now wants to take money from me to give even further tax breaks to himself and his millionaire buddies, by raising my taxes and taking away access to healthcare and education for me and my children.

What I resent is that he tried to paint his charmed life as something just like every American.

He's so out of touch, it's not even funny any more. It's just scary.

Matt Taibbi* had a great exposť this week on just how Romney extorted millions from the feds while at Bain. Disgusting. And probably one of the reasons he won't release those taxes. The paper trail would show just what he did.

*had to get his documents through the Freedom of Information Act directly from the government, because the Bain documents obscured what really happened.
