STILL CAN'T DO ANY EXERCISE !

ONE DAY LAST WEEK I DONE 10 MINUTES OF WAIST SIDE BY SIDE AND TWIST AND FOUND OUT THIS BODY IS GOING ON STRIKE. THE NEXT DAY EVERY TIME I BREATH I COULD FEEL THE PULL! emoticon MY STOMACH TIGHTENED ALRIGHT INTO MUSCLE SPASMS ! WOW ! IT'S BEEN CLOSE TO A WEEK NOW AND I STILL HAVE THEM SOME AND AM ALITTLE SORE! WEIGHT WATCHER INSTUCTOR TOLD ME TO CUT IT TO 5 MINUTES AFTER I AM OVER THIS ! NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE ! emoticon AS I GET OLDER I AM NOT ALLOWED AND CAN'T ANYWAY EXERCISE BUT I WANT TO BE ABLE TO HAVE MUSCLE STRENGTH AND TONE SO I USE A STRESS BALL FOR MY HANDS AND ARMS AND DO KNEE BENDS AND SIT ON THE FLOOR AND COME STRAIGHT UP STILL . I WILL BE 60 YEARS OLD IN JULY ! I AM GOING TO GET A BASKETBALL HOOP AND A BASKET BALL WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP AND JUST THROW A FEW BALLS WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT . STANDING IN ONE SPOT BUT WILL BE USING MY ARMS SOME ! TRYING HARD TO STAY AWAY FROM SWEETS BUT MY 1 CANDY CANE A DAY WHICH IS 40 CALORIES A DAY AND LAST A LONG TIME ! HAVE A GREAT DAY AND DON'T GIVE UP ! emoticon

    5 mins a day is better than no mins a day! Slow and easy is the way to go. Your body is going to be sore after doing some workout, but it will get used to it after a while. Just don't force it or rush it. I have a stress ball too and it is great for the hands and arms. And I think you may be able to find some really good chair exercises on line too.

Read an article today on spark and basically it says a man who waste 1 hour out of his day doesn't realize how precious life is . I agree with that and got to thinking alot of times we are all guilty of letting life get us down and are bored and stressed thats the human in us . I am and have been focusing on staying positive as much as possible . Alot of our friends want to talk so much about gas prices health issues the bad issues in the news and i know they take a tow on our lives but if we pray we know God will make away ! I like that little course !I KNOW THE LORD WILL MAKE A WAY FOR ME. I KNOW THE LORD WILL MAKE A WAY FOR ME. IF I LIVE A WHOLLY LIFE SHUN THE WRONG AND DO THE RIGHT I KNOW THE LORD WILL MAKE A WAY FOR ME ! I have been serving him for 38 years in July and he has never failed me yet and i know he won't now! I think of the woman who gave her last penny i have never been there- the woman that had enough flour to make one more cake for her and her son and gave it away- Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb -- never been there either so no matter how tough things get God won't leave us. Romans 8:28 all things work together to them that love the Lord ! Lets try to accept the things we can't change : change the things we can and have the wisdom to know the difference. God knows the future and he is in control of it all . Talk positive and others around you will know there is something different about you that they want to have. Talk negitive and the world will say " whatever they got i don't want it i am better off the way i am. Lastly my favorite saying is ' AND THIS TO WILL PASS ! Only heaven and hell is eternal so whatever you are going thru hold onto Gods hand and know it will be okay ! GOD LOVES YOU ! Have a great day ! emoticon

    Our pastor in Spokane called them, "Lip dragging, lemon sucking Christians." I don't ever want to fall into that category. I discovered a few years ago that whenever someone says something negative about something, I come up with a reason to be positive. Being positive keeps us happy.

NEED TO START OVER AND FOCUS AGAIN !

I KNOW I HAVE DONE GOOD AND AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY SUCCESS BUT I ALSO KNOW I AM SLIPPING WITH JUST LITTLE THINGS EACH DAY AND I NEED TO MAKE A TURN AROUND AND GET ON TRACK BETTER ! I AM TO COMFORTABLE WHERE I AM AT AND I HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES AND GAINED MY WEIGHT BACK SLOWLY ! THIS TIME I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT. THERE IS NO EXCUSE SPARKPEOPLE FURNISHES THE TOOLS SO WE CAN LOSE OUR WEIGHT AND MAINTAIN . I DON'T FEEL I AM READY TO WORK ON MAINTAINING EVEN THO I HAVE BASICALLY STAYED AROUND 157-159 FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS NOW . I REALLY WANT TO LOSE AT LEAST 10 MORE LBS AND THEN MAINTAIN SO I AM GOING TO READ THE SPARK BOOK AGAIN AND SPEND MORE TIME WATCHING SUCCESS VIDEO 'S ON THIS SITE ! I DO NEED SUPPORT TO DO THIS JUST LIKE I DID WHEN I LOST 32 LBS. I CAN'T HELP OTHERS IF I DON'T COMPLETE MY GOAL TO . I WANT TO BE HERE FOR OTHERS AND LOSE MY 10 LBS ALL YEAR LONG SO AT MY 2 YEAR SPARK ANNIVERSARY ON NOV 4 ,2011 I CAN FEEL I HAVE DONE WHAT I HAVE SET OUT TO DO THIS YEAR. ALL WHO KNOWS ME KNOWS I PUT PLEASING THE LORD AT THE TOP OF MY LIST AND I HAVE JOINED A CHALLENGE TODAY TO SPEND 30 MINUTES A DAY WITH THE LORD WHICH I SPEND ALOT MORE THAN THAT BUT ONE OF MY GOALS IS TO BE BETTER WITH MY MUSIC I SING IN DIFFERENT CHURCHES AND LEAD SONG SERVICES SO I WANT TO DO MY BEST THERE AND I HAVEN'T TOOK TIME TO DO MY BEST ON THIS SO I AM GOING TO DEDICATE 30 MINUTES A DAY TO MY MUSIC ABOVE MY DEVOTIONAL TIME ! IT IT LOOKING LIKE THE LORD HAS OPEN DOORS FOR ME TO BE SONG LEADER IN 2 SMALL CHURCHES A WEEK I KNOW I NEED TO PRAY AND PICK THE SONGS GOD LEADS BECAUSE EVERYTHING DONE DURING CHURCH MIGHT EFFECT SOMEONE TO GIVE THERE HEART TO THE LORD AND I WANT TO DO THE BEST I CAN. DH AND I ALSO SING AT LEAST 1 SPECIAL SONG IN EACH SERVICE AT THESE CHURCHES SO PLEASE PRAY GOD WILL LEAD ME. IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE DO IN LIFE AND IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES AND OTHERS WE COME IN CONTACT WITH ! HAVE A GREAT DAY AND DON'T GIVE UP! emoticon

You have good insight. Your desire for self-improvement as a means of reaching out to others is admirable. Every now and then it becomes necessary to re-evaluate our goals, and the means of achieving them. Experience has taught you well. You inspire many you touch along the way. Do what you know works for you, and continue to try new things, and the weight will come off. Those last few pounds are always the slowest. Don't be discouraged. You are definitely not alone.

WEIGHT WATCHER NIGHT!

TODAY I AM GOING TO HEM 2 SKIRTS AND WORK ON CLEANING THE HOUSE SOME. WOULD LIKE TO PLAY THE PIANO SOME AND I HAVE WEIGHT WATCHERS TONIGHT. I DON'T COOK ON TUESDAY NIGHT WE EAT AT KFC I GET THE GRILLED CHICKEN BUT I THINK I AM GOING TO GO BACK TO THE 1 PIECE GRILLED GREEN BEANS AND A SALAD. WE ARE GOING TO CHURCH AT LEAST 3 NIGHTS AWEEK AND LEAVE ABOUT ALITTLE AFTER 5 AND I CAN'T EAT THAT EARLY SO THE 2 NIGHTS THAT WE DRIVE 44 MILES ONE WAY I NEED TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING THAT IS HEALTHY GOOD AND JUST NEEDS WARMED . THATS ON WED AND SUNDAY NIGHT SO I CAN FIX THE SAME DISH AND WARM UP ON SUNDAY ! ANY SUGGESTIONS? I AM TO TIRED WHEN I COME HOME TO COOK THE LAST TIME I FRIED HAMBURGERS WITH OTHER STUFF TIME I GOT THINGS CLEANED UP IT WAS 9 PM . ONE NIGHT A WEEK WE GO TO WENDYS AFTER SERVICE WITH CHURCH FRIENDS. I USUALLY GET BLT CHICKEN SALAD WITHOUT BACON AND EXTRA TOMATOES SO I AM OK WITH THAT ! ONCE A WEEK WE MEET WITH FRIENDS AT A PIZZA PLACE AND I BEEN GETTING 11 INCH VEGETABLE PIZZA EAT 2 PIECES THERE TAKE REST HOME AND HAVE IT FOR LUNCH 3 MORE DAYS BUT I GOT THINKING ABOUT THE OLIVES HAVING ALOT OF FAT IN THEM NOT BEING GOOD FOR ME I HAVE HIGH COLESTEROL AND I AM GETTING TIRED OF THAT SO I THINK THIS WEEK I WILL JUST GET A SIDE SALAD AND FORGET IT . DH LOVES TO GO ALOT AND EAT OUT EVEN THO WE EAT CHEAP I HAVE TO FIND BETTER CHOICES TO LOSE A LITTLE MORE WEIGHT. ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME ! HAVE A GREAT DAY !

    Keeping some cooked up chicken breasts is a great thing to have in the freezer. You can always heat up a couple and a can of veggies for a quick meal.

    Sounds like you put alot into your planning for these times. I also am on the go alot. Crockpots are wonderful. I take boneless chicken breast, taco seasoning, salsa put on low for like 6-8 hours. When done shred with fork right in crockpot, it then soaks up extra juice. I keep this in frig. bake burritos, use on salads. I have also made a casserole with light cheese then pop in oven for quick meals! Good luck, And I do get the KFC. From what I remember it is countable on WW. Although I haven't gotten the new program since I found SP.

    I often ttake cheese and crackers for a light lunch. The Keebler Club Crackers in Multi Grain are oh-so-good, and paired with low-fat cheese gives you protein to satisfy your hunger. Paired with an apple, or some grapes, and I feel comfortable without being stuffed.

    I don't think the veggie pizza is to bad for you with regards to your pizza night out considering there really isn't to many olives at one time as you spread it out over dinner and several lunches. My suggestion would be to order it as a thin crust pizza if it aready isn't and then when it is first served sop up some of the oil on top with a napkin. If you only got a salad vs the pizza that you would need to worry about the salad dressing calories etc... and then what to eat at those lunch times when you would normally have eaten your leftover pizza. I don't think you would be able to stretch the salad to cover those lunches. Just a thought.

For those late nights after church. How about fixing some tuna or egg salad during some free time a few times a week and have it ready in the fridge. Then all you need is some small pita pockets or your favorite low cal bread to put together a sandwich. Add some healthy low sodium canned soup or some homemade WW zero point soup and you have a quick, minimum clean up after woods meal. Bye the way, hummus and taboule are also good in the pita pockets.

I see you have strength with regards to KFC. If I went I would have a hard time steering clear of the mashed potatoes with gravy and a biscuit. Good for you on your healthy selections.

THINKING POSTIVE !

AT FIRST WHEN I FOUND OUT I HAD TO DO MY WRITTEN TEST OVER I SAID NO WAY I AM 60 YEARS OLD IN JULY AND HAVE DROVE FOR 37 YEARS WITHOUT A WRECK THAT WAS MY FAULT. THINGS ARE DIFFERENT THAN WHEN I TOOK THE TEST ! SOMEONE TOLD ME YOU GOT TO BACK BETWEEN CONES THAT ARE CROOKED AND PARK BETWEEN THEM TO. I NEVER HAVE DONE THAT I JUST GO UP A BLOCK FROM WHERE I NEED TO PARK AND THERE IS 2 PARKING PLACES ! emoticon WHERE I CAN PULL IN. THEN I GOT THINKING ABOUT IT AND I AM NOT GOING TO LET THE STATE CONTROL ME I WILL TAKE THE TEST AND IT MIGHT TAKE ME AWHILE BUT I WILL PASS IT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT MY FREEDOM OF DRIVING TAKEN AWAY FROM ME. DH IS 75 AND CAN'T SEE THAT GREAT SO I MIGHT NEED TO DRIVE IF WE GO ANYWHERE ! I KNOW WITH THE LORDS HELP I CAN DO THIS GONNA MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR NEXT MONDAY SO PRAY FOR ME PLEASE ! I believe that sometimes we project too much concern/worry/nervousness on things that end up being so much easier than we at first anticipate, Vickie.

I took one driver’s test back in my teen years & passed without being able to parallel park. It was the last skill tested on the driving test. I hadn’t taken driver’s education classes & hadn’t even thought to practice such parking (the need to parallel park just wasn’t part of my daily world).

Surprisingly enough over all the years I have seldom had to parallel park between other vehicles – as you said you do, when given the option, I, too, will go further a field in order to not have to parallel park.

Have you thought about practicing your parallel parking between two large cardboard boxes, Vickie? That might help your confidence level to rise. The process really is simply when one thinks about it, my Sister/Friend. And practice does benefit!

I am praying for your peace about taking the test. I know that you will be able handle it with those proverbial “flying colors”!
