My Weight Loss Journey with GoFitWear - Weeks 4 & 5

My week averages are: 2397 cal burned, 1572 calories eaten, 3 hr/02 min activity, daily avg deficit -825 calories, 4227 steps, and 6 hr/19 min sleep (lying down 7 hr/ 55 min)

Avg Protein/day =24%, (102g) avg Tot Fat = 24.5% (45 g total fat /sat fat =11 g), avg Carbs = 51.1%
Avg Sodium =2543mg; fiber = 30 g,

Notes -

1. Many sleep interuptions during night, no change.

2. Down 8 lb now

3. Changed back to 1.5 lb/week goal. Requirements for 2/week were too daunting! So I might loose 2 lb in 1 week, but the Official goal is 1.5.

My week averages are: 2534 cal burned, 1615 calories eaten, 3 hr/ 24 min activity, daily avg deficit - 919 calories, 3850 steps, and only 7 hr/03 min sleep (lying down 8 hr/06 min)

Avg Protein/day = 30.1%, (141g) avg Tot Fat = 21.3% (43 g /sat fat =97 g), avg Carbs = 48.5%
Avg Sodium =1891mg; fiber = 40 g,

Notes -

1. Many sleep interuptions during night, no change.

2. Steps measured are much lower than recorded on my Omron which I am still wearing.
Avg week steps: GoFit=3850, Omron=6130

3. Sodium average=1891. My sodium/ day were - 2399, 2373, 1197, 1835, 2088, 2023, 1309.

4. I really don't feel that I'm pushing myself very hard and I've lost 6 pounds is two weeks; mainly because my daily calorie deficits were higher than projected by by the software. Week 1 avg deficit was1351, week 2 was 931, week 3 was 919(software deficit 750.) Therefore: I have officially changed my goal to a 2#/week loss. That projects that I should be at 130 pounds by Dec.20, 2009.(That is, if the Good Lord's willing and the crick don't rise!)

My week averages are: 2380 cal burned, 1449 calories eaten, 1 hr/ 41 min activity, 4284 steps, and only 7 hr/31 min sleep (lying down 8 hr/24 min)

Avg Protein/day = 27.3%, (105g) avg Tot Fat = 19.4% (32 g /sat fat =7 g), avg Carbs = 53.3%
Avg Sodium =2519mg; fiber = 44 g,

Any surprises?

1. Many sleep interuptions during night, no change from week 1.
2. Steps measured are much lower than recorded on my Omron which I am still wearing.
Avg week steps: GoFit=4284, Omron=7322.
3. High sodium average=2519. Eating out ? Tuesday july 14, total sodium=7508mg!!!!!!!!
That day I had dinner at Thai restaurant and had to estimate nutrition info, thus 7508. The other sodium days I had were 3106, 1693, 956, 1484, 1799, 1088.

My weight loss Journey with GoFitWear - Week 1

I'm setting out to loose 1.5 lb per week until I get to 130lb or a BMI of under 25 (currently 30.9, which is considered OBESE).

I Started wearing my gofit on June 30; my first full day was July 1, 2009. The only thing I have to do is enter ALL of my food every dayand wear the band. The targets set by the softwear is that I burn at least 2250 calories/day, eat 1500 cal/day and maintain a calorie deficit 750cal/day, get 60 minutes/day of regular 'activity' and at least 5000 steps/ day.

My first week averages are: 2770 cal burned, 1426 calories eaten, 186 min activity, 4032 steps, and only 6.35 hr sleep (lying down 7.27 hr)

Avg Protein/day = 35.9%, (182 g) avg Tot Fat = 23.1% (51 g ,sat fat =19 g), avg Carbs = 40.9%
Avg Sodium =1506mg; fiber = 38 g,

Any surprises?

1. Many sleep interuptions during night, I will get a sleep study.
2. Steps measured are much lower than recorded on my Omron which I am still wearing.
Avg week steps: GoFit=4302, Omron=7832
