Grandpa and Grandma Stokes offered to take the kids for an overnight, so the hubby and I are having a date night! emoticon. We are going to see a movie and go out for dinner. I have done really well today so I'm hoping to stay in my range and avoid the temptations for dessert and candy.
I ran 4 miles today, unplanned, but the kids were using the living, so I guess I may Zumba tomorrow. I also got in 20 minutes of Pilates, I'm hoping to notice a slimming of the waist line by the end of the month. emoticon I figure as much as I feel it working I should see inches disappear.
I hope you all had a great day and thanks for stopping in!! emoticon

So short and sweet, I ran 5 miles today, push mowed the lawn and played 2 games of softball. I'm tired and ready for bed, but I'm hungry so I'll be grabbing a quick snack first. I really struggled today with my run, which is why I only got 5 miles in. I just felt exhausted, so I'm hoping my snack tonight will give me enough energy to get up and run in the morning. I would eat before I run, but that usually makes me feel sick. I'll see if this works and if not I'll try something else.
Have a great night and a Terrific Thursday!! emoticon

Well all went well at the dentist, for the kids, I on the other hand get to have a crown put on. emoticon I was really hoping for no issues, but I guess only having to have one thing done is better the 2 or 3. emoticon The kids and I got home and had lunch and than it was off to the DS's doctor appointment. I'm glad I took him, but all the doc. said was that is was viral and if it doesn't clear up in a couple of weeks to come back. He said there was also a good possibility of allergy issues, so I'm supposed to give the medicine for that. I'm glad that he didn't antibiotics, I just hope that it clears up soon.

I did 40 minutes of Zumba, 20 minutes of Pilates and 20 minutes of ST in today. Tomorrow is another running day, and I'm hoping for 6 maybe 7 miles, depending on how my legs feel. I also need to mow the lawn and than I play 2 games of softball. It should be a good cardio day! emoticon

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!! emoticon

UGH - the dentist - a place I try to avoid. I'm sorry you have to have work to do.

The rest of the day sounds great, and I'm glad there is nothing seriously wrong with your son.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! I had a busy one and not a nutritionally good one, but I enjoyed myself and I'm back on track today. I got up and ran 6 miles, even though my legs and feet felt like lead. I soooo wanted to stop, but I knew that I could push through and I did. I also got my 20 minutes of Pilates, one was a Cardio Pilates and than an ab workout. emoticon

The kids and I have dentist appointments in the morning and than I'm taking my son to the doctor in the afternoon. He started coughing Thursday night and yesterday he coughed so hard he vomited. Today he didn't cough for the first few hours he was up, so I thought we were in the clear, but it came back. I'm to get some answers tomorrow and figuring I'll have 2 kids on antibiotics, but hopefully that will get them healthy. emoticon

Have a wonderful evening and thanks for stopping in! emoticon emoticons!!

    6 miles and pilates?!?!?!?

Must be sick season at your house. Seems like I just read a post about coughing and here is another one. Hope you make it through unscathed and that your family's health returns.

Happy Saturday!!!

Saturday, June 11, 2011

It's a wonderful day today!! My hubby got home late Thursday, and after the weekend will be done with Guards for a little while~ Yippee!! He wasn't supposed to be done for another week or 2 but plans changed, which is typically for the military, but at least this time it was in our favor. emoticon

I got up early today, or rather my son did, but it was ok. I got another 6 mile run in and 20 minutes of Pilates. My total miles this week was 26.67, which includes my warm up and cool down time. Not too bad I think emoticon I'm really hoping this will break the plateau that I've been on, but if I can't reign in my eating I'll be stuck here forever. So besides thinking on upping my mileage to 7-8 miles a day, I'll be really pushing myself to eat healthy and NO bingeing!! I CAN DO IT!! (A little positive self-talk emoticon)

Tomorrow I have another family birthday party. I while I had good intentions for my nephew's party, I didn't do so good, so I'm hoping my MIL & FIL party will go better. Yet if not Monday will be a new day and a new week. emoticon

Hope you all are doing well and sticking to your plans, along with having a good summer!!
