I had a wonderful night last night. Dinner was great, I love the Mahi Mahi and fresh steamed veggies. I even had a margarita. After dinner we took the Harley over the Dam and enjoyed a little drive before the movie. On that note, my hubby must love me, because it was definitely not his type of movie, but he didn't complain once. He said he was happy being there with me and since I watch his movies, he figured he could watch one of mine. Just in case you missed yesterday's blog, we went to see Eclipse from the Twilight Series. I read all the books and I enjoy watching the movies just to see what is missing from the book, which is always a lot. Yet it was still enjoyable.
After the movie we headed right home, due to a storm that was coming in. It was supposed to be after midnight before it hit, but of course it was early. We were good until 8 miles from home and than the rain started. We were lucky and it wasn't a hard rain, that started about 15 minutes after we got home. It was an experience for me, I've never been on the bike in the rain, but it wasn't too bad.
So last night was wonderful and today has been fairly low key. I did get to drive to Mitchell to pick things up for my husband project today, dismantling the old upstairs sewer pipe. He didn't have enough metal cutting wheels, so the kids and I took the 45 minute drive and picked up a few things and headed right back home. That took up most of the afternoon, but the kids were well behaved so it was o.k.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for Monday.

Today is my wedding anniversary, 11 year with my wonderful hubby.
It doesn't seem like it has been that long already but it's been fantastic, for the most part. We are getting ready to head out the Harley for dinner and a movie. We decided to stay a little closer to home, which is nice, since I really love the place we are going to for dinner. Their fish selection is WONDERFUL and the atmosphere is relaxing. Than we are going to see Eclipse, my choice of course not his, but he chose the last movie. It should be a wonderful evening together, and since we didn't get to do this last year, due to his deployment, it will be memorable. Actually all the ones we get to have together are memorable, which is 5 out of 11, due to the Guards. Love the job opportunity for the hubby just not the schedule sometimes.
Anyway, have a Super Saturday and enjoy your loved ones.

Another Super Summer Day!
I got up and ran just under 4 miles today, outside, which makes it a little harder on me. I'm still working on judging my speed, but my time was good, so it was still good. I came home and did my strength training and than went for a walk with the kids.
After lunch the kids and I went to the pool for about 2 hours and than it was back home to prepare rhubarb to make a Rhubarb/Strawberry Crunch. I was just going to freeze it but my DH wanted that instead, which is fine but so far I'm the only one who has ate any of it.
I've really been trying to reign myself in and cut more calories out of my day, I'm just not doing a very good job. I've hit a plateau and I don't know what else to do, but cut my calories. I've changed up my cardio and I don't know what else to do, so if any one has any ideas, I'd gladly hear them.
Thanks for the help and have a Fantastic Friday!!

I've had a pretty relaxing day so far:) I got up later than normal, due to my DS not sleeping well again!
Yet I did do all the workouts in the Cardio Blast DVD, which is just over an hour of cardio and than I finished up with my 200 crunches!
After I got cleaned up the kids and I loaded up the recycling and took it over to a nearby town, that has a Recycling Drop off. It didn't take long to do, mainly driving time, but the kids and I listened to their new favorite album, The Princess and the Frog. It made the time go fast and kept the kids entertained.
Than home for lunch and nap time. The kids and I really conked out. It must just be the weather and lack of sleep from the night before.
I don't have much else planned for the day or tomorrow for that matter, but I'm sure something exciting will come up. Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!
