Early to rise and late to bed

I don't have much time to blog since I really should be trying to get some sleep. I woke up just before 5 this morning and laid in bed for about 10 minutes before deciding to just get up and go run. If I would have gone back to sleep I won't have gotten my run in and I would have felt tired and crabby all day. So I ran my 2 miles and jogged/walked another .7 miles. It felt good and I actually made it through the day without feeling too sleepy until about 1/2 an hour ago.
We went to Yankton and picked up supplies for the kitty and so hopefully it will be found by tomorrow. The owners haven't seen the kitty in about 2 days, I'm trying to be optimistic but it's hard. So hopefully tomorrow I can blog about my/our new kitty.
I finished up my strength training and now it's off to bed.

Another Day of double cardio:)

I was once again able to get in 2 cardio workouts!! YIPPEE!! I did Taebo for 1/2 hour this morning emoticon and than 20 minutes on the elliptical after school and before supper emoticon. So I'm feeling a little tired but happy that I've been able to do it and that, so far, my body is keeping up. Tomorrow I get up and run 2 miles again and then strength train after school. I'm hoping that I'm not too sore so that I'm able to get everything I want to do done:)
Stayed in range yesterday, barely, but today I'm doing great!! I'm actually under so I can still have a snack yet tonight, which after all the calories I've burned I should make sure I take in a little more emoticon
After school tomorrow, the kids, hubby and I are heading down to Yankton. We are getting a new kitty~Yippee!! We haven't had a cat in a while and I really wanted to get one a couple of months ago, but now I'm glad a waited. My parents neighbors have a black calico and it is precious!! emoticon So I'm very excited and we need to go and get some supplies, hopefully we can also eat some besides McDonalds but we'll see what the kids decide.

I got up this morning, a little sooner that I had planned, but I ran 2 miles in 16 minutes!! That is a new personal best! emoticon I jogged another 4 minutes and walked 2 minutes for cool down. I'm so amazed that I'm actually turning into a runner! I'm seeing longer distances in my future! emoticon
I did 40 minutes of Cardio Blast when I got home from school today and I still have some strength training left to do. So along the lines of exercise I have done great today!! Now as long as I don't snack on anything else, I'll still be in my calorie range, not as good as yesterday but not horrible.
I hope you all had a great day and find a way to stay motivated. I'm thinking shopping when I hit my goal! emoticon

Missed Yesterday, but back today

Yesterday was a little bit crazy for me. We had a FUN-FILLED Saturday night, maybe a little too much fun. emoticon Yet I felt pretty good on Sunday, only a little tired, which was good, since we were taking the moms out for lunch. Johann and I got home with enough time to shower and change the kids and head out of lunch. That was experience in patience, but after getting seated and some food into the kids all was well. I even did really well for lunch, which made you feel good, since my night before was not so good. After getting home we all took much needed naps and than I worked on grading papers.
My weekend was done so fast and today it was Monday again. I had a good day! I got a good night's sleep and got my cardio in this morning. Went to school, came home and did some abs and calf raises, made dinner and than off to the School Board meeting, my turn to take notes. emoticon
I got home just in time to kiss the kids good night and finish my sparking. I have 2 miles to do in the morning and I'm looking forward to it. emoticon

Windy but Sunny

I had thought that the weather was supposed to be dreary today,but the sun is out and makes it look gorgeous! If only the wind wasn't blowing just a cool breeze it would be perfect., but I'll take it over rain. emoticon
I ran my 2 miles today, it was supposed to be 1 mile, but that wasn't enough of a challenge the other day so I figured I would do more. I'm starting to think that I could probably run the 10K in July instead of the 5K. It seems that running is easier than I thought it would be! emoticon Maybe I'll see how the next few weeks go and than I'll make my decision, if anything I will definitely me RUNNING the 5k. Running me, I'm seeing it happen:) emoticon
I getting ready for the busy weekend and I'm hoping to stay on track! Have a wonderful weekend all and I'll let you know how I end up. emoticon
