Great Wednesday!!

I had a great day today, only a little lingering of a migraine, which stayed at bay~yippee!! It's not totally gone but gone enough to allow me to function, which works for me.
I exercised this morning and have a little strength training left to do, which makes me happy! emoticon I have also stayed at the low end of my calorie range for the last 2 days:) Hopefully I can keep on track and maybe the scale will start going the direction I want it to go! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Another Tuesday

Today was the first day of my school week, since I was at the TIE Conference on Monday. It wasn't a bad day, but I didn't have time to check my school email over the weekend or yesterday, so I didn't know I needed to cover a 1st period class today. Normally I don't care, but since I was gone Monday, I had things that I wanted to get done, which of course, didn't happen. I did get things accomplished later today but I could have done more:)
Than, unfortunately, I got another migraine today. It has gotten much better but it is still not gone. emoticon I'm thinking these are hormone related and I don't know what I can do to help them, since even the medicine doesn't make them go away. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
I did have a great calorie day and I got a small workout in this morning, which was good since I haven't been able to do much else today.

    Are you keeping an accurate food journal? I know we discussed headaches before and I told you about hormones but food can aggravate the headaches too. I know you are on here and I hope you are logging in your food. Look over the list and see if there is one or two foods you are eating when you get the headaches. Also go get your eyes examined. I strain can also caused migraines. I got glasses myself and it also seemed to help. I'm just trying to be helpful. emoticon

Well it definitely was a Monday. I didn't sleep very well last night. I was worried about getting up on time to get in my cardio and still be ready to go to the Technology Conference. Also my children took turns climbing into our bed, which of course lead to a lack of good sleep. emoticon
Yet I did get up and I got my 1/2 an hour of cardio in~Yippee!! The Conference went well until after lunch when I got a migraine:( I'm just starting to feel better, so maybe I'll get my strength training done yet today. emoticon

    I suffered from migraines for years, too much of one food, lack of sleep, stress and monthly hormone levels all contributed to the headaches. When the pain was bad I would drink a small cup of caffeine tea and the caffeine would help. Now I'm not saying go hog wild with the caffeine but a little helps. Buy or borrow the May edition of Good Housekeeping magazine, in it is an article on stress in our lives and GREAT pointers on how to cope. It might help you relive some stress that could be causing the headaches. BTW my headaches were the worst in my late 30's and early 40's. Menopause made them go away!

    We have kids in and out and up and down all night too! I was up from 1:30-3:00 last night. Sorry that we are sharing in this bad luck!

    Too little sleep aggravates migraines. You might want to reconsider your choice between sleeping and cardio. Sorry, I'm in mommy mode! emoticon

  Good for you for getting that workout in. When it comes to a choice between sleep and working out I usually go for the sleep - something I'm trying to change.

I know I haven't blogged in a while, I've had a busy and fun weekend emoticon
My hubby and I went up to SF after I got out of school on Friday to pick up the new Harley and than we went to see Clash of the TItans, which was pretty good. It was really nice just getting to have a night out without kids and to get to watch a movie all the way through without interruption:)
On Saturday, I took my MIL down to Yankton for her massage than got home with enough time to curl my daughter's hair and get her ready for Dance pictures, which were back down in Yankton. So I spent a lot of time in the car on Saturday, at least much more than what I'm used to. emoticon
Since we didn't have actually dance class, due to pictures, we went down to Yankton again today. The whole family went, so we took the kids out to lunch and than killed time until it was time for dance class.
It was a great weekend, but I felt like all I did was drive places and didn't get much accomplished at home and I didn't do good for calories either, but tomorrow is another day, so hopefully I can do better. emoticon

I had another great day! I only got one cardio in for 32 minutes, since I was too tired to get up this morning, but I'm getting my strength training in and my Quick Fire Challenge of 100 Calf Raises.
I'm in my calorie range but I took in more that I wanted to; TOO much snacking today:(
I'll be ok. since I'm done for the night and tomorrow is another day. emoticon
We have our school's track meet tomorrow, which will make eating a healthy lunch hard; but I'm looking forward to the corned beef and cabbage I'm planning for supper, so I'll figure something out:)
