Ok, so I pretty much took Week 4 off thanks to Christmas with my family. It was so worth it (kinda) because I spent quality time with my family. I put time with family above PIHW when at all possible. It's a priority. I do, however, regret taking so much time off because I am sore now...OUCH! But it's kind of good because I get to start from anew...kinda.
Week 5 Day 1 was no joke. 1 arm pushups?!? Are you kidding me? I could only manage 2 and that was while on my knees.
So did anyone actually stick to their routine over the Christmas break? If not, it ain't the end of the world. Get back on track and keep going. That's all that matters. You've got nothing but time to reconnect and complete the program. My personal goal is to be done in time for summer and to look and feel great. If I can get a second round in before June, that's be sweet!
Anyway, time to rest.

I had a cheat day last night...there it is. It's out. Yup, I opted to watch a good movie, eat some junk food and have a few beers. Yup. Last night was the start of my vacation and I wanted to just have a relaxing evening. So I did! And you know what? I didn't even go over my calories. I went way over my sodium and I feel bloated this morning but it was worth it. Sure, I'm going to have to make it up today but I'm ok with that.
I have an open house at my friend's place tonight with the kids and there is going to be more drinking and junk eating going on. I'm bringing homemade Gyoza. I love Gyoza.
What are you doing for Christmas Eve? I used to get SOOOO excited on this day when I was really young. For some reason the excitement isn't there anymore. Oh well. It's for the kids, not me anyway. haha
