the benefits of apple cider vinegar

Monday, June 03, 2013

I was making a honey orange ACV drink a few years ago and drinking it daily. It cleared up my skin from acne, soothed sunburn, cleared my dandruff and also soothed my tired feet.My allergies were awful before this wonderful vinegar came into my life.I stopped using it which was crazy. emoticon Recently,My DH came home with some ACV made by Heinz(with The mother)and handed it to me for my sunburn. My allergies are almost gone and my gut feels awesome. emoticon Have any of you been fans of ACV?If so please give your opinions emoticonSUSAN
PS...2 cups of water,2tbsp ACV,2 pkgs stevia, honey to taste or 3 tsp, about 1 cup of orange juice, mix well and enjoy!!

I just went through an episode of sunburn especially on my feet, I rinsed my feet with ACV and later added some to my bath water. Since the beginning of the year i have broken out with psoriasis and I again use the acv in the bath water for it and also when it really flares up I rinse the areas with acv. I may try drinking some and see it it will help clear up things from the inside out.

I used to use it as a digestive tonic, 1 tbs in a glass of water every morning. We can get a bottle with acv and honey, I might start with it again and see how I feel. Thanks for the reminder.

It is easy to forget not to stay out in the sun so long at a time, when you are swimming, or doing yard work. Thanks for the reminder.
This really sounded painful.

Ouch! I find bathing the affected area in cool tea takes away the sting. But best to avoid. Here in NZ we have to watch out eecially carefully because of the hole in the ozone layer, which is right above us in the summer.

Not just skin cancer, sunburn can cause all kinds of issues like infections and rough, wrinkly skin. You probably won't forget to reapply after this adventure, but you'll also want to remember those sunglasses, too. Feel better!

I am so sorry. I had my share of severe sunburns when I was much younger and I get checked often by my dermatologist now!

The crazies

Thursday, May 30, 2013

In many ways my mother comes out in me.I inherited her calm, soft spoken, sweet, loving, nature.I love to laugh!I believe it can heal many things.I love reading, cooking, flowers, gardening and animals. She could walk up to me and tell me what was on my mind.I am the same way!My kids never could lie to me.She loved going to Wal Mart. Not just to shop but to see all the"crazies"she called them.I wait until I'm out of everything before I will go to Wal Mart.I actually went today(DH usually drags me there)There was a Santa Claus look-a-like in there with the shortest shorts I've ever seen on a man.To top that off there was a young woman wearing a see through gauze dress with NO panties or bra on.She bent over right in front of me and showed me her BUTT!! emoticonI told her that her dress rode up and she just shrugged. When I was finished and paid for my veggies,I was going to my car when An older man walked up and asked for money. He held up a sign that read deaf/mute please help.I said,No not today buddy! As I was walking away he muttered"BITCH!" emoticonI laughed and said "He Speaks" emoticonSUSAN

That is very funny! I think the warm weather brings crazy people out like gnats and mosquitos. I saw a bunch at an amusement park this weekend. I think people have been in doors so long they are all coming out in droves with whatever they can wear to get attention!

I agree with your Mom - the crazies only shop at Walmart. You can really see strange people in there. I hope you have a better day!
