The jury duty MOUTH!

She stood up and got sworn in,it was my 4th day as a juror.I thought...she is a cute kid.She was all braces and blonde curled hair.They sat her next to ME!We cant talk during a session.She proceeded to whisper,being shushed by many of her peers.I was listening intently when she passes me a note!Is she for real?I'm ignoring her when the bailiff walks up.No talking! he gives her a stern look.As soon as he returns to the front...pst..pst..pssssssst!!She pokes me in the leg...I need to pee!I held up my number and told the bailiff we need a break.Little miss Sunshine runs to the ladies room.Everyone was buzzing about her.It felt hurtful to hear but,she was being silly.She returned and started getting loud about the soda machine.I sat her down and spoke to her about contempt of court.She actually listened and was a model juror the rest of her day.I told her"I dont know about you?But,im not going to be fined or jailed on Thanksgiving day"You are a grown up so no more notes or whispering"This isnt a joke,it's serious and the judge is giving you the Stank Eye.All it takes sometimes is a gentle and kind voice to make someone listen.
I wasnt prepared for a Mothering session today but she changed her tune.The other jurors asked me what i said to her.I answered that I treated her with respect and kindness!! SUSAN

I was donating some old clothes that,I cant stand the way they fit.An elderly lady was driving in also and thought I worked there.She started handing me boxes and bags.And without a big deal I loaded them onto a wagon.I was headed to the doorway when,she said Oh Dear!I turned to her and she said I thought you worked here!I didnt mean for you to wait on me!Oh Mam that's okay I dont mind I laughed,I do respect my elders.I helped her get a cart and she was soon happily shopping for decorations.Another lady walked up and said that I had inspired her by helping the elder lady.She said after I'm done I'm going to go mow my neighbors lawn,she's also elderly and alone!She gave me a hug,and I started my shopping.My Husband was standing there shaking his head and smiling...Wherever you go he laughed,theres a hug!Of course I said holding out my arms want one? He thinks im Crazy! SUSAN

The trees are gold,orange,yellow,brown and fragrant leaves cover the ground.The fresh cold air and spirit of thanksgiving on the way is so exciting to me.All the smells that are coming from the kitchen,coffee,banana bread,cinnamon oatmeal and hot chocolate.The kids running around playing in the leaves.Smoke curling up out of the chimney.It all reminds me of when i was a little kid and mom,though she didnt have much money made every day so special.I try to recreate that for my family.I know they appreciate walking in the door and smelling all the fragrance and baking cookies.My grandson ran up to me and said Grammy,I love the way your house makes me feel!I remember all the smells and good food,it reminds me of LOVE!!I laughed and thought My sentiments exactly!! Animal Shelter hope

They have the cutest little faces.They have wet noses and hope in all their eyes.wiggly butts,furry tails wagging like crazy and nobody to take them to their forever home.I walk,brush,hug,pet and bathe them with tears in my eyes.No matter what they've been through they dont give up hope.My Little friend Taylor is recovering from cancer and she's helping me give out loads of love.Taylor is a MIRACLE!She should have been gone to heaven because she was so sick!But,here she is helping us!I saw her holding Barney kissing his nose and cuddling with sarah in her lap!I was overwhelmed with love for her at that moment.I'm glad her mama trusts her with me!The kittens and a 3 legged cat adore her.They are climbing on her nuzzling her neck and she pets each one like it is the most important one!Killer the pitbull mix waits patiently for his turn and ends up in my lap going to sleep.Its really funny how when I go home I have to shower off all the puppy and kitty kisses.My Husband wrinkles his nose and points to the shower before he hugs or kisses me.If you or anyone you know wants to get a pet for Christmas,think about the animal shelter first.The amount of LOVE they give has no ends.Adoption helps make room for others that will be surrendered after the holidays.I hope if you can you'll think of donating blankets,towels,sheets and or food to keep the little souls warm...God Bless! He gets this glassy eyed look in his eyes when he walks into the decorations!He grabs a cart and loads in lights,sparkling bulbs,candy,garland you name it!He pulls out candy jars,dishes and three tiered racks for treats.Heck the kids think he is Santa!He gets so many presents we have to document where he puts them so we dont end up finding them years later..in a shoe!!Once he bought a giant bag of candy,forgot where he put it and the fire ants were dying of sugar meltdowns last summer! Bless his heart he loves Christmas so much!I love playing with the dancing santa's and snoopy.Please honey he laughs grow up!!?he has 3 reindeer,Santa on the roof,a giant lit tree,elves,nativity scene and dada....giant stacked gifts that sing. Ya'll im off to help him assemble! Susan
