Let me tell you that,my mother in law hasnt made it on this earth 91 years from being soft sweet and kind.She has her moments where I want to send her on a slow boat to china!!LOL..We went to visit a few days and she was cantankerous and rude.I caught a virus from my two young grands and it didnt start making me ill until we were halfway there!I was feeling greener and worse by the mile.She was a bucket of happiness to see her daughter in law/maid walk in the door!We werent there ten minutes when she pulled out her list of things I can do for her.1-wipe down all cabinet shelves,2-steam rugs,3-wash her linens,4-dust all the furniture,5-scrub bathrooms(she was having company!What am I?I just laughed and went to bed with my trusty bucket by my side and slept a few hours.I woke up so sick the room was spinning and I barely made it to the bathroom in time.Green is an awesome color,just not on my face!
She greeted me at the kitchen and says"what are you making us for dinner?
and can you make your butter pecan cookies I love?
Couldnt she see me holding onto the wall for support?
Kayla my daughter walked in and said"Grandma,surely you are kidding mama is very sick!
her answer?She'll be okay!
Kayla walked me back to the room and made a dinner for everyone!
they all boasted and bragged on her.
My husband walked in and saw my face,felt my forehead and took me to a HOTEL!The peace was overwhelming.
I slept for 2 days between my husband and daughter bringing soup and grilled cheese and iced tea.
I got into the shower and let it steam me down the drain.
Dh was waiting with a towel and helped me get dressed.
I was feeling well enough to go and see the monster in law LOL!!
An hour later we left Louisiana and stopped at IHOP.
I had eggs,ham and dry toast,so gooood!
I took the pancakes to go!
We got home Monday night,I slept all of Tuesday(when not in the bathroom)
Today dh and dd went to work and school.Ah the home is where the heart is.
I feel bad for missing most of the trip but,MIL has 9 more years to dog me out.

We all are in this world together!For the life of me,I cant stand someone to stand back,observe others and decide they should be where the sun rises and sits!That they are far better than anyone else!
I was at the hospital for what seemed like the millionth time.
They insist on weighing everyone that checks in.
Two very overweight teens were sitting beside me eating donuts.
They were drinking huge sodas also.
A twig of a woman waltzed up right there in front of everyone,
"You fat girls would eat anything,would'nt you?I wish I could eat
a bag of donuts!
They turned red with shame and embarassment.
I could'nt take it
"Wait a minute little girl!She turned looked at me and pointed to herself..ME?
Yes mam..YOU!
Do I know you?
No,but you are about to!Do you know these girls here?
Uh no ,she answered with a little eye rolling.
Yet you walked up here and spoke very rudely!
Why?
She sat down in a seat.
It disgusts me seeing fat people just gorging on food!
Why?
They look like pigs.
What are you?80 lbs?
Does anyone ever say you look like a stick figure?
All the time!
Does it bother you?
No,yes,I dont know!
What gives you the right to go hurt another person?
Because they are fat they have no feelings?
Did you see the size of the nurses?
Are you going to be rude to them?
Before I knew it,
about 8 people were discussing weight.
I held the girls hand,looked kindly into her eyes and said,
WORDS HURT!
I got up to leave.
She got up and hugged me.
So did the teens.
Life is too short to carry burdens around.
Take those demons of anger,hate,judgement,fear,resentment and decide if you want them in your life......

I was in the hospital recently visiting my friend Carmen's husband Marty.His very friendly roommate was a loner.He had no friends or family visiting.I was about to go buy Marty some things he needed when I stopped to ask Bert if he'd like some coffee or candy...Of course he looked at me shocked and said SURE!You'd do that for me?He made me a list and handed me a $50.I laughed and headed to Wal Mart.When I returned with 2 Subway sandwiches Bert started crying when I handed him one and a coffee!!Marty said its okay Bert Susan does this all the time...its just who she is.I laughed and said beware I bite!After eating his sandwich Bert reached inside his bag and saw all the extras(hospitals can be boring)puzzle books,pens,deoderant,Axe gift set,candy,cookies,crackers and man soap and playing cards...lol...Marty said WOW is it Christmas already?They both were busy digging in their bags when I had to go.Thanks they both yelled as I left.....My phone rang a couple of hours later,it was Marty.Susan,he said you have brightened Berts day so much!He is so happy!Oh,it was my pleasure!Bert is about 21 years old,Marty and me are his only friends.Oh and by the way I asked the nurse if it was okay if I made some more get well goodie bags for some of the other people and they said I could.My Dh thinks im nuts and I dont care..He knew it when he married(he's secretly proud of me though SUSAN

I can be in a crappy mood,get on spark and before you know it,Im laughing my arse off.People are so compassionate,kind,sweet,friendly,understa
nding,funny,uplifting,helpful,humorous and straight players.I feel like,I have found a place for ME.We are birds of a feather and understand each others dilemma's...I have been here since February 7th,2011 and though we dont "KNOW" each other...we feel each others pain and triumph's Thank you all for your comments...None are taken lightly!I adore all of you and look forward to all ya'll in 2012!! SUSAN

She would throw us out of the house to clean!Im not near as bad.I do feel better in a clean and organized home though.I realized one day that,I couldnt find a bill because my DH gets the mail and throws it all over.Newspapers were having babies and shoes were taking over!I began organizing everything in my sights and freaked him out.My Granny(dads mama)always said everything has a place.Well my DH is not happy but he can find his ties and fave shoes now!!I filled the car with cast offs 5 times!I had 8 graters,about 30 coffee mugs,12 measuring cups!But,my oven mitts are horrible 
I wrote a list of things I truly use and the rest is going to the low income soldiers.Got any organizing tips for me?I sure can use them!
