My husband was folding laundry when....

Thursday, June 09, 2011

YES,he does help fold laundry!Mr.Manly Man holds up my new smaller underwear and says...Who's are these?I answer,Mine, why?Well usually you wear those granny panties(laughing on his part)I still do,to exercise because they are cotton.I picked up a pair of his new unders and said whose are these? your brothers?(he's like the abonible snowman on Rudolph)His face turned to stone and he could only say TOUCHEE(TOOSHAY)for those of you that havent heard that term. He,looked like a little kid caught with thier hand in the cookie jar!!When i started laughing...He apologized, wrapped his arms around me and said woman!you are shrinking..... emoticon sparkers

That's funny. He sees you daily so its probably harder for him to notice how much you have changed. And I agree with wearing the cotton grandma panties to workout but when you get home and shower from your workout, put on some cute little boyshorts and flaunt that tight ass in front of your man and I bet he will notice now! Mine sure does!

Ended up shopping instead of cleaning!

Tuesday, June 07, 2011

I know,How awful huh?My daughter had other ideas and frankly it was fun going and having subway and shopping!I was a good girl and had done most of my exercise so I gave in.I'm adjusting to wearing different clothes(stepping out of my comfort zone)and it feels amazing. In the past I always hid my body even when I weighed 120 lbs.A new me is emerging and I bought size 8's woo hoo!!I hope that some day I will inspire others as much as you all inspired me! emoticon SUSAN

Shopping with my daughter, someone just shoot me now! She looks so cute in the cloths, but does she have to try on everything at every store. I am getting tired just thinking about it. I am glad you had fun and I do love Subway.

We women rock too!!

Monday, June 06, 2011

I have been begging my husband for 5 years to take down the jungle gym. It's been rotting, falling down, and had rusty nails, splinters sticking out and I cant watch my grandkids every minute.SO....Me and Kayla got our gloves, glasses
hats, sunscreen and tools out.Me swinging a hammer and her using the crowbar
we got busy! After 2 days of sweating and fighting misquitoes,My husband came
out and acted like Captain Marvel (we were 99.9% done)He,saws down the rest of the remaining lumber. We women rock!He was peeved that I went ahead and took the proverbial bull by the horns and did something I begged him to do!!!So,theres a moral to my story!!When he says honey just wait,I'll do it myself?I will start doing it MYSELF anyway...really 5 years later??Well i took some well deserved advice from OURMAMAM and tore out an ad in the newspaper and stuck it on the fridge reading..Honeydo man will do what your honey wont do!!Honey is not amused but he is curious(SMILE)I have a list started!!....GOOD FOR ME AND KAYLA....Happy monday sparkers emoticonSUSAN

I hear you. My problem is that unless something is really dangerous, my DH isn't concerned. Right now we have a potting shed that is starting to look like it belongs in Dogpatch.

Around here, "nagging" means mentioning it once a year. I learned along time ago to use the phone-number-on-the-refrigerator technique. Sometimes works; more often not! The best thing about that is over the years I've accumulated a good list of numbers to call when I need something done.

Attagirl! That's the moxie that can prick at that manhood bubble....so beware the sleeping giant. If things continue to annoy him enough to get involved, you may have to keep adding things to that list just to keep him out of trouble.

It takes alot to make me this angry!!

Sunday, June 05, 2011

We were in Wal Mart yesterday when a woman, spilling out of her clothes, leaving nothing to the imagination was getting talked about.I usually keep my big nose to myself but,I seem to have become more vocal for some reason. She felt good enough about herself to wear those clothes, and that is great!Whether we like it or not! Those women were being catty and selfish to think they had a right to tell someone about themselves.I stepped in and defended her.Hankenstein said recently "Being in a church makes you no more of a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car"Amen Hank!!We all should be able to have more self love and appreciation.Im not saying to put on awfully revealing clothes and parade around!Im saying wear what makes you feel amazing!I AM LEARNING!!Standing in judgement of others is not right. We live in a very diverse world and people wear a various assortment of clothes that we all dont agree is appropriate,But Who Cares??Dont bring down someone else to make yourself feel better!ARRRRG!!.....Happy Sunday sparkers

You are so right. God told us that it is not up to us to judge others. I wonder where most people were hiding when this lesson was taught?
Thanks for reminding us of this vital lesson!

Its a good reminder to look inward before we spew outward. Everyone has a choice and can exercise personal choice as long as it doesn't take away someone else's choice. Empathy and compassion are needed more in our world.

Great post. Thank you.

Good for you! I like the comment about how being in a garage does not make you a mechanic.

Thanks for the uplifting message.

We have lots of bunnies here. Its unfortunate though for my dog who was bred and trained to hunt rabbit so its a bit of tease. I love seeing them though in the morning and in the evening... They tend to just do their own thing.
