I am up .8 lb for the first time since starting this.

Needless to say, I'm annoyed. Granted, I have been having a lot of very rich food over the past two weeks, not to mention two all you can drink beer events, and a very nice spice cake with cream cheese frosting for my birthday. I guess I should be glad it was only .8# - but I'm still miffed. I was exercising extra in that time - busting my butt.

Back to the drawing board.

    I know that sucks thats why its important to stay in calorie and fat range If I exercise I wont let myself overeat because I know it will be all for nothing Its hard I am living proof of that but just keep trying.

I am going to eat what ever I want. We are going to a nice restaurant for dinner, and I will order whatever suits my fancy.

My brother made me a spice cake with cream cheese frosting, and I will have a nice piece of it, topped with the mango/cardamom ice cream we found yesterday. (5 Boros' Mangodesh - tastes kinda like mango lassi. Mmmm.)

I will also have a nice caiprahina, as the mint I've grown for that purpose has been woefully neglected and the bottle of cacacha is collecting dust.

So there.

I went over my calories again. Not by too much this time, but still. But you know what? I'm not going to worry about it. I did a day's calorie's worth of cardio this week. I still have a birthday to celebrate and I'm not going to stress over how much or what I will end up eating that day. I've decided I get a pass. I can always make it up during regular weeks.

Plus my gym membership starts next week, so I'll be putting in some hours there. It will all even out eventually.

    Keep up the good attitude! Last week I went over my calories several times and got mad at myself. With your attitude and the new gym membership I am sure you will lose the weight. This is something we can all use - a positive approach. Good Luck and have fun with the birthday celebration!

getting back on track

I'm finding that it stresses me when I end up eating more than my allotted calories. I end up feeling hungrier on those days, and the days immediately after, when I'm trying to compensate for the indulgence. But once you start to get back into your routine, you realize it's not so difficult to stay within range.

I have 3 more days of eating out, and then I can go back to my usual routine of cooking what I eat. I'll be glad to get there.

That's it - bar food is too high calorie. I barely ate yesterday and with the beer - two of which turned out to be 10% ABV - I was 800 calories over. So today I'm starving! I keep drinking water, but I'm really just hungry.

I'm going to have a bacon cheeseburger for dinner - I can't wait.

    Hi. Have you tried keeping so fruit with you so that you are not hungry during the day? It works for me.
