Boy! I have to admit that I had never done any blogging until just really recently. I feel it is really great and helps to keep me encouraged onn my health journey. I have made so new friends along the way and I am excited to make even more and to encourage them plus myself. The sun is out and it is abeautiful Friday afternoon. We had a visit with my mother in law. My husband is suppose to help his sister in her business when her daughter has her baby. She is due Oct.3. I felt I needed to get home and check on our home and etc. So I encouraged my husband to stay with his mom until his sister needs him. I feel bad because it could be another three weeks. But with the price of gas and getting him back up there he is already there. Besides I am sure his mom will enjoy him and he can do some odd jobs for her. It seems odd with him not here. Got home and thanks for rain, the grass had over grown. I got lots of exercise this afternoon, mowing the yard. Ready for bed tonight.

I know what you mean when hubby is not around. There was a time when his company sent him to Germany for a month. My son will be having his baby around Oct 5. Good thing is you got a lot of exercise. It doesn't seem like it should be Labor Day already. It seems like when you get a little older the the day isn't exciting as it was when you were younger. Of course back then gas wasn't almost $4.00 and things were les expensive. It seem when you are on a fixed budget one really has to watch every penny. Well we decided we are going to see my husband's mom. She is 87 years old and very lonely. I wished we lived closer so we could ses her more often. It shouold be fun getting out of town and having a change of scenry. I hope everyone has a happy and SAFE weekend.

Yes, time flies! Totally agreed with you that festive seasons is not exciting when you are older! Yes, those gas prices are ridiculous! Well I am on disability. I had two hip surgeries in 2010. Tomorrow I am going to take a Census test for a part time job. I think it would work out perfect for me. I take a 30 minute test . If I should pass it (I hope), they will then interview me. Men who have the been in the military get more points. I just hope I get it.

Hope all goes well for you, AND that you actually get the job! I have a friend who has been doing the census for years, as one more way for her to have some income. It has been a lazy Saturday!!

We got some more rain during the night. That is such a blessing. We are so dry here in Kansas. Then when I got up this morning, my husband hushed at me and told me to look out my bahroom window. There has been a stray calico cat around which I have left food and water out for it. Well this morning it was on the chair with a cushion pillow sleeping. It must have stayed about an hour or two. I even went out our back door not to wake and scare it off. Some how this makes me happy. I always feel sorry for strays. The rest of my day I have been doing SP things and enjoying my saturday.
