Still on track!

Well, it's been longer than 3 days and I'm still on track. OK. That's sort of a record! LOL 1,350 calories a day on days that I don't exercise, 1,500 on days I do exercise. I'll see how that works for a while and if I don't see any progress after 2 weeks, then I'll change the caloric intake. Changing my mindset about food is helping a great deal. Food is only fuel, it's not anything more than that! Blogging is also helping. I think it's knowing I have a sort of accountability to my fellow sparkers. I want to be able to blog a success, so I have to work for it. Makes sense to me, if not anyone else! LOL

Happy about today

I'm happy about what I ate today. All healthy items and stayed under my calories. I walked a lot today. Also made plans to get back to the gym next week. So sunny and warm out, so glad to be out in the fresh air. Really enjoyed today.

    Glad you had a nice day! I was planning to go to the gym for my workout this afternoon, but the weather wouldn't let me. I ended up going for a run around the lake near my house. Gorgeous! Hope you have a successful week!!! emoticon

Is totally AWESOME! The warmth makes me want to exercise. I'm so busy at work prepping for a trial I haven't gotten any exercise in! Bummer!! Just read BOTZZZ's blog and feel all inspired again! Some people can just do that for you. Thanks Sparkers!

One day at a time

Yesterday I followed the Sparkpeople menu without cheating. I ate everything on the menu that I was supposed to. That was day one. On to Day 2. OK, so my weightloss has to be accomplished one day at a time. I'm realizing that. Now I'm working on a streak here!! emoticon

As they say the weight did not all appear over night. It crept on very slowly and that is the best way to take it off. Jut be diligent and when you slip (which we all do) be forgiving. emoticon
