Didn't eat enough

Monday, June 22, 2009

Didn't eat enough this weekend. I was trying to, but was way to busy. I'm going to try to carry my lunch with me. That's the biggest problem. But I've got all my recipes printed out. I'm going t make sure I eat only what's on this nutrition page. This has got to work! It feels so good! Also, exercise has got to be part of the plan. I walk alot, but I have to walk with the purpose of getting in 10,000 steps. It's not hard, but I need to be more purposeful with it. I WILL do this!

Thanks sparkers for the encouragement! Especially the Walk Away the Pounds teams!!

1 pound loss

Thursday, June 18, 2009

Although having gained the 3 lbs I lost, losing 1 pound feels good. I guess because I'm really trying to eat right. I slacked on the exercise, but then decided to do the quick fire challenges. I could actually feel my metabolism rise. I got so much energy. Now I'm doing the quick fire challenge every chance I get. trying to get in at least 100 reps a day of squats, skater squats, wall pushups and leg lunges. I actually enjoy doing them. I can feel myself self tightening. I'm a little sore, but it's ok. Now to walk away the pounds. Been working crazy hours on a project, getting home late and feeling to bushed to workout. But the quick fire challenge is great!

Just read Heidi's blog

And it's like she's writing my feelings!! I'm going to blog more and express my feelings and frustrations as well as disappointments. There are great sparkers on this website that are so motivating. I'm going to try harder. Even though I already feel like a failure today.

Still not losing weight and losing the motivation to exercise, even though I feel better when I do. Don't know what's my problem. Still staying within my calorie range. Tracking everything I eat and eating more when I haven't eaten enough. Has anyone ever heard of a fat anorexic?!! LOL Gotta eat to lose weight. My doctor keeps telling me that. I know he's right. But it's so tough to eat so much food all the time.

But, I think that's going to be what I used to say. Because lately I've been getting hungrier more but I'm still trying to eat healthy and drink all my water. It helps. I'm also adding foods with a little more calories to make the calorie count. I think the better thing to do would be to add more foods with lower calories, but I'll get there.

It's really motivating to me to see the weight scales of everyone else. I want to see my weight scale move in the right direction. I guess it will eventually.

Lost my pedometer

Monday, June 08, 2009

I followed ONEREALLYBIGDOG's advice and for the first time I bought a pedometer. I lost it after two days!! :-( Bummer

But on the bright side I also stuck to my plan throughout the weekend. Which is a first for me. It really feels like I accomplished something. Thanks SparkPeople for helping me to achieve goals never done before! I also am gaining more confidence and beginning to like who I am. I'm glad I'm taking charge of my weight loss. I wonder how I can get one of those electronic "women" I would like to change my profile to one of those. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Dollar Tree has pedometers for $1!! You have to be careful not to knock the button by accident though. I superglued a nut around mine so I can only reset it with a thin pen end.

    You go to

ol has teamed with JustKeepMoving to deliver a free pedometer and exercise DVD to anyone that registers.

It is a real cheapie but better than nothing. It is similar to the $5 pedometer you can find at Walmarts.

Good luck! I would be so lost without my pedometer! I have an Omron HJ 720IT, $30 at but it uploads to your computer.

The #1 Rated is the Omron HJ 112 for $20 plus S&H which is why I got the other with free shipping - only about $5 more considering the shipping.

Why did I check your blog TODAY?

My wife left hers in some pants recently and I do the laundry and don't check the pockets, that is HER job, LOL. Anyway, you know the rest of the story, I WASHED HER SHINY NEW PEDOMETER. Would you like me to send it to you? Since it's electronic, it doesn't work anymore, just like me, hee hee.

Raylinstephens, had a post recently about a place where you could get a FREE pedometer. If I find the blog, I'll send it on to YOU.

Have a great day
Glad you had a great weekend.

Electronic women, I haven't a clue,
the blow up dolls, I'm NOT gonna admit to those either!

Take care my SP Doll

Just enter for free and you have a electronic woman. And you can see how clothes would look on you too.

Happy about 3 lbs

Friday, May 29, 2009

I've lost 3 pounds. I've done this before, but not for long. Usually the next day or at the end of the week I've gained 2 pounds back. I hope I can get to the point where I can lose three pounds and then lose three more pounds right behind it. I know I'm my own worse enemy. Once I start to feel/look better, then I think I can add something else to my eating plan that's not healthy. NOT THIS TIME!! For the first time in my life I want to win this one! I've never won this and now it's my time. emoticon
