Oh Yes! ALL FIVE DAYS THIS WEEK!
I worked out. I have tracked. I have planned.
I am feeling FANTASTIC!
It is pretty amazing how a little consistency in exercise and eating can improve a mood exponentially!!!
A friend recently posted on facebook that she was purging her closet and was donating all the clothes to Good Will. Well, she and I are similar size, so I asked if I could go through them. She brought them over immediately.
I ended up with 4 new-to-me capris, tons of sweaters, a "next goal" skirt, and several new shirts (including a fabulous workout shirt which I am sporting at this very minute).
I wore one of my new-to-me outfits last night. It was a SLEEVELESS sweater top and plaid capri bottoms. I was a little self-conscious, but not too much (again, my mood is so fantastic again).
Some friends from my grade school and high school days met me there. They were so complimentary! They even asked me what I was doing to look so good. It was so good to get a compliment like that.
Oh Yeah! I talked up Spark and the friends I have met here. I do love you all!
I hope that those who are in a slump read this and are encouraged. I have been in one that has lasted something like 6 months. I have no idea how exactly to give advice on how to get the mojo back, other than keep taking baby steps, keep working on the inside when you can't work on the outside, and absolutely NEVER quit! Some work is always better than none!
